Okay, since I don't own the books, and even if I did I still might've made this mistake, is there anywhere where someone has compiled the places where the builder and/or compendium are wrong?

Not that I am aware of. That'd be useful... except it'd also be a massive undertaking, since they are riddled with errors.

HoFL pg 233, and apparently it's actually called Master of Spells. My bad. It lets you swap out one unused daily for another of the same level or lower in your spellbook each time you take a short rest.
thanks

So, I was playing around with the Wizard D25s and discovered a few things about Bewitching Gaze. First, the interesting bits of the power Sustain Standard: You repeat the attack against the target. On a miss, the power ends. Miss: You do not expend this power. Its a great power, but the sustain standard is a little painful. The solution? A ring of Focus.
Ring of Focus Once per round until the end of the encounter, you can use a free action on your turn to sustain an effect of yours that requires a minor action to sustain. If you've reached at least one milestone today, you can sustain a power once per round on your turn using no action, rather than a free action. The milestone bit is key. It means you can no action sustain ANYTHING sustainable, instead of sustain minor. And voila, I believe you have a no action sustain uber-dominate.
Another question is when a power is "expended." Based on the RC, an attack and an attack power are used synonymously, but perhaps the Miss is abuseable? However I have to imagine its expended on first use, and so even if you miss after sustaining for 3 rounds, the miss effect doesn't kick in, but its food for thought.
Thoughts?

I don't know about the miss being abusable but the Ring won't work, IMHO. It specifically states a sustain minor and the power is a sustain standard.
Actually that wording is wonky. But i still don't believe it would apply to any effect beyond a sustain minor. Those better at reading into rules will definitely need to weigh in on this one.

Except the power explicitly states it works different after a milestone.

Before a milestone: Once per round until the end of the encounter, you can use a free action on your turn to sustain an effect of yours that requires a minor action to sustain.
After a milestone:
Once per round until the end of the encounter, you can use a free no action on your turn to sustain an effect of yours that requires a minor action to sustain.

Which is why i stated that the rules heavies my aneed to way in. I just don't see how you're chaning the sustain standard into a minor/free/or no action. It seems as though the Milestone part is only going to take effect on a power you can sustain as a free action which i'm assuming works in conjunction with the first part of the item that allows you to use a free action to sustain a power that would normally take a minor.
I do see how that would be usable on an effect of another power that has the free action sustain requirement though.
Offering my interpritation but i am in no way the expert in these areas just expressing my reading.
