Wasn't the Hengeyokai suppose to appear as a player character race in the builder this month? Anyone know if they forgot it, or if I'm wrong. I posted this on the character builder thread but no one replied.

I saw them on the builder last time I was on last month I'm pretty sure. But I did just go check the builder and you're right, it isn't there. Huh...weird.

The race has not been officially released yet; the version presented in Dragon 404 was the playtest version. The good news is that I heard back from Jeremy Crawford the other day and it looks like we're getting close to the release of the final version (I'm still hoping this month!). It would then appear in the DDI tools after that.

Oh wow! it doesn't say playtest till you open the PDF. I never noticed that before. Well that explains it. I wish they would put the playtests in the builder. It would make playtesting them a lot esier.

Huh, same here I didn't realize it was a playtest. Curious to see if they really change it in the finished product. I hope they add a little more spice to the races, like giving each animal subrace a specific class feature. They can still keep the one stat block for all the animal types, just making so depending on what animal it gives you that specific class feature(like their animal shifting).
