Obligatory Link.

Planning on taking Prince of Hell as your ED? Well, wait no more, my friend, our new improved model comes in 20 levels earlier!

So, grab a flaming weapon and have +1 to hit, forever. And turn yourself into a demon at level 10. (Do remember that BoVD-related material is not LFR legal)

2cp for your thoughts?
A Beginners Primer to CharOp.
Archmage's Ascension - The Wizard's Handbook.
Let the Hammer Fall: Dwarf Warpriest/Tactical Warpriest/Indomitable Champion, a Defending Leader.
Requiem for Dissent: Cleric/Fighter/Paragon of Victory Melee Leader

it makes me sad the theme is not legal in LFR, though I dont know why they made it so

Insulting someones grammar on a forum is like losing to someone in a drag race and saying they were cheating by having racing stripes.

Not only do the two things not relate to each other (the logic behind the person's position, and their grammar) but you sound like an idiot for saying it (and you should, because its really stupid )

Book of Vile Deeds is not LFR legal, because LFR wants to avoid evil PCs, and "Evil" PCs.

This article "expands on the themes" in BoVD, and is so BoVD material, and thus also excluded, along with "Black Hearted Knave" earlier this month.
"Nice assumptions. Completely wrong assumptions, but by jove if being incorrect stopped people from making idiotic statements, we wouldn't have modern internet subculture." Kerrus

Practical gameplay runs by neither RAW or RAI, but rather "A Compromise Between The Gist Of The Rule As I Recall Getting The Impression Of It That One Time I Read It And What Jerry Says He Remembers, Whatever, We'll Look It Up Later If Any Of Us Still Give A Damn." Erachima

Works the same for some Dark Sun suff, for what it's worth, meaning that the "Escaped Slave" theme is also out of bounds for LFR.

the reason its stupid to do this is that A) there are themes that would fit unaligned PCs well and you would never quality for the ones that required evil alignment anyway B) refluffing

That --along with the higher-level start rules-- being a prime example of how disconnected the LFR heavyweights are from the game as a whole, yes.

Is this really an article "with additional BoVD character themes or other support articles specifically for the BoVD" (from livingforgottenrealms.com)?  I don't see a BoVD logo anywhere.  All it says is- "The Book of Vile DarknessTM introduces several character themes to help you construct player characters who are tempted or touched by evil. This article adds the infernal prince to their ranks."  It adds them to their ranks.  I think, by RAW, that just means they fight next to each other, not that this is material that necissarily has to go with that book.

I just want to be able to call one of my LFR characters an Infernal Princess.
