Please tell me this is humor.  There are two correct ways to pronounce "bow" in the English language.

Bow - A tool used for archery - "long o"
Bow - Something you do before a king - rhymes with cow

Thank you, SYB. That's the joke.

To the DM is always right comment. In one of the books it says something along the lines of "during a rules dispute, what the DM says goes". Even though the DM may not be technically right, he is right for the sake of the game's progression. I've seen my group almost fall apart due to the "rules nazi" and people trying to "loop-hole" their way out of rulings they didn't like, so yes, the DM is right only for the sake of keeping the group together and story going. At least that's my two cents.

Which is fine.
The problem is that to many people do not stop at that, or use it as an excuse for the DM to have no idea and make up the rules as they play.

46: Don't ask "is it bloodied yet?" every five minutes. Or after hitting it once.
47: Don't roll your dice on the encounter map littered with hundreds of figures.
48: Don't be afraid to do the unexpected.

42) Don't place a bag of holding that holds the contents of the universe inside into another bag of holding. If you do this will cause an unceasing rift in temporal space causing the same 15 seconds to repeat forever due to an unending paradox in the space time continuum. Yeah, my group went there....

Yeah, I once wanted to use one of my Gloves of Storing for a Bag of Holding so as to really trim down on what my character was actually carrying. The DM had me roll an INT-check (might have been Arcana) to determine if that was a "good idea". Apparently, I already knew this would cause a tear in reality that would open to the Far Realm. Close call.

Sounds like a Doctor Who episode.

49) If you can't hit the table with your dice, your character can't hit the monster.

13) point 13 is always the same point in any thread (or should be and the lack therof brings bad luck). If anything can go wrong it will. If more then one thing can go wrong the most amusing one will. No plan ever survives contact with the enemy :p

Since this is a dnd thread I guess it should be put in the proper terms. 20 and 1 happen. Much more often then anyone would like.

Grappling hook NOT attached to rope = a funny-shaped & unwieldy club.

"Drow" also rhymes with "row" and "sow".
