Hey all

I built a variation of the a Drow black Hole, which I might play in an upcoming one-shot.  I was hoping to get some thoughts.

I decided to go with Ensnarement Swordmage to pull creatures back into the black-hole, and Executioner to boost MBA damage (which this build should get plenty of)  Flail was chosen for the flail feat lines to give me a slide-and-prone combo.

Since your flail is not a light or heavy blade, you can't use it as an implement for your implement powers and you've given up the chance to get swordmage warding (though I note you didn't pick up the hybrid talent for that so you may be aware of it).  The combo works, it would just be nice if you didn't have to sacrifice most of your class to make it work.  It also works better with the fighter (more AC, good ways to stop them from moving).

You can take Spiked Chain Training to have a weapon that's both a Flail and a Light Blade.

He is already using his multiclass for Fighter to get access to the Flail feats.
