I agree completely.  I'd love to see a couple tutorials on how to paint.  I haven't painted since the days of pewter miniatures (was terrible then) so I don't even know where to start...

Did you have any examples for the monsters that you used?  Monster Manual maybe???

I've been trying to figure out the best way to make acrylic paint stick. What did you use for primer?

I hear a real key is to wash the mini before painting, so as to completely remove all the oils.

do you have to base coat the models first? since the models are a soft plastic does the paint chip?

I used a GW base coat. I did a few stress tests and the paint seems to be sticking well. I haven't seen any cracks or paint chips. Hope that helps.
