Anyone else watching these series? Season two is on episode three. Pretty good so far.

I never read the graphic novel, but the show is pretty good.

I watched a couple episodes of season 1. It wasn't bad. Not sure why I stopped. Probably work got in the way.

I quite like the show, and I have never really been a fan of the zombie genre. I am caught up with it except for tonight's episode, and it is one of the very few current shows I watch. It has already been renewed for a third season. If I had to pick a favourite character, it would be the guy with the crossbow.

I quite like the show, and I have never really been a fan of the zombie genre. I am caught up with it except for tonight's episode, and it is one of the very few current shows I watch. It has already been renewed for a third season. If I had to pick a favourite character, it would be the guy with the crossbow.
Yeah, that guy is cool as hell. I'm glad they have a third season set. THe show is good. It's one of those where I actually like the characters.

A buddy of mine told me crossbow guy was not even in the graphic novel and was created for the tv series. He has some pretty funny lines. An episode or two ago he said something to the effect of, "am I the only one Zen here." It made me laugh.

Really? They did a pretty good job creating that character. That zen line made me laugh also.

I drank myself to sleep last night and missed the episode but I think WD is the best thing to hit cable sense BG finished. I have to check later to see if WD is on demand in my area. Otherwise I have to skip out on the last quarter of next weeks MNF game to catch up.

The paceing: slow, but not too slow. Too slow, people get bored. Too fast, then the slowish parts bore. It's like a wise old man telling stories: dosnt tell it too slow (or the grandkids will fall asleep) but dosn't tell it as fast as they might want him too (because then it will be done and they won't get pulled into the narrative).
Yup, thats my adjective for the show. Wise.
