Hi ,
Just wondering if you rule buffs will help me.We have a barbarian in our group and he wants to know about one of his daily powers.He uses Rage of the death spirit,he knows that he can mark each enemy within 2 squares of him and he gets +2 to hit ,but if he marks each target does he get an opportunity attack against each monster,or just the +2 to hit and they get -2 to hit because of the mark?

Ya know, your posting in "Other editions". And this isn't THAT deep of a rule issue... I mean marking is described RIGHT on the Dm screen.
"Marked Targets take -2 to hit any target besides the creature marking them." (typically about a 10% chance of miss) Marking has nothing about granting OA's, thats a class feature for fighters (if memory serves). The text does give him the spare 10% to hit (+2) which is excessively nice and this whole shebang makes the barb a much more effective tank in this rage. I typically skip it and take Oak hammer rage. (knocking prone is gravy. Cant fight back well if they cant get away.)

Rage of the Death Spirit MIGHT be getting much tastier in November with the new heros of the feywild. They claim that the new barb build is tank by day, striker by rage; so pushing the marking over might grant some extra benefits for the character. Which could make a "meh" power into a "DAAAYUM!!!!' Power.
