Has anyone here converted Dark of the Moon to 4e?    

I really want to run this module and I'm looking for a few tips/help converting the encounters over.

I ran this back in 2nd Edition and had great fun with it.

I don't have any specific advice for converting it, but off the top of my head, I'd make the Loup Du Noir based around a cursed item (the wolf skin), thus allowing the PCs to succumb to the curse. 

Given the eternal winter of the setting, it'd also be a good chance to break out the Caverns of Icewind Dale Dungeon Tiles.

For copies, EBay or amazon is your best bet... or you could download a copy an illegal copy on sites like 4shared and risk spyware.  Since I have a copy, I could collab, once I get some free time.  

Most things shouldn't be too hard.  Fluff exists as fluff, no need to convert much.  Transfer hazards and whatnot to part of an encounter or just make them a skill challenge.  Seeing as there are a lot more encounters with a few things, some encounters might need to be chopped away and monsters buffed a bit.  Most of these could easily be roleplay or skill challenges as well.  

In chapter 1, encounter 5 is the first actual combat encounter with gregor.  Encounter VIII features a struggle between peasants and warriors.  The peasants can easily be turned into minions.  

Chapter 2 has Encounter III being a battle against one of the forest inhabitants, the Arayashka.  Encounter IV has the Boyarsky warriors and wolves in Kirinova.  If the PCs weren't captured in IV, Encounter V is Gregor returning.  Encounter VI is a chase sequence of Gregor and his boyarsky trying to hunt down players individually.  Encounter VII involves witches that saved most of the team from Gregor.  If the players mess around with the witch's house, their "pet" leucrotta will attack.  Chapter 2 ends with the witches rescuing remaining PCs and preparing them to go back into the harsh weather and fight Gregor.

Chapter 3 starts with one of your allies or the NPC dropping as he might be controlled by Gregor.  Meanwhile, a troop of wolves (probably under Gregor) jump the team.  Returning to the town results in some exploration.  An old fighter will loan a powerful weapon when asked.  Encounter III involves fighting off Gregor's minions throughout his mansion.  After that, it's a face-off with Gregor.  He'll try to flee when he's really weak.  This results in finding him, barely alive, in the villager with more minions.  He vanishes and reforms in his secret cave.  The last encounter takes place there after a local leads them to it after a long trek.  For a while, he will fight with the players.  Once he's weak, he'll try to force infected players to transform while he tries to get away.  The players finish him off on an icy area (with fake checks for Dexterity to psyche them out).  As for monsters, you can kit bash existing monsters to fit this, such as werewolves and warriors.  The neverwinter book has a werewolf template.  Also, you should refluff the bite effects to infection... which is hard to shake off (especially in Ravenloft).  Hope this helps for now.

I’m planning on running a Ravenloft adventure using 4E, and I´m thinking on using this module as inspiration.

I’m looking for a module that reflects the most iconic Ravenloft elements and is simple to run.

I notice this module is about 64 pages long, which is a pro, because I´m looking for something introductory, to play in about 6-8 sessions, not necessarily too long. If we feel like it we might follow it with a second longer adventure. 




I´m considering feast of goblins, I know it´s great, but I heard it requires more DM work; maybe it's going to fill our second adventure slot.

Any suggestions about would be appreciated.

Oh yeah... and Night of the Walking Dead, is another contender as it´s a 32 page module!

Someone did an incomplete conversion of NotWD.  As for the rest, you're on your own.
