Novacaine wearing off during dental work is a bitch. Definitely on my list of things I don't want to happen again.

Pfft. Nine root canals. Anesthetics wear off about five minutes after they kick in - I have a naturally high resistance and recovery time and I've built up a tolerance over the years.
Pain is only temporary.
