We are starting a campaing into Darksun, we are a 4 man group, my other mates choosed a chaladin, barbarian and shaman.
At first i was thinking about a warden or a dual wild with scale armor ranger, bu after i see what are the others i think these are noot good picks.
We will be poor onto the magical item side, no hibrid or essential class allowed.

How is he getting a Paladin in Dark Sun? This might open more options as a primal Invoker would be cool and fit well. A good controller would be the best fit, a Psion would be my choice probably.

Either psion or wizard (veiled alliance) fit the party and should have good roleplaying opportunities in a Dark Sun campaign.

I second the vote for Wizard. You'll need a ranged controller who can double as a striker.
