Much is written about the battle between King Halav and the beastmen king Flahgr. There is alot of material covering the events after the battle, concerning King Halav. All I can find of the beastmen king though, is a reference that says "the beastmen took their king and returned to the beastmen lands". I have a campaign in mind centered around the resurrection of Flahgr, but I can't find where these 'beastmen lands' were. Anyone have any ideas? All I could find is they were from Nithia, but that doesn't help much on modern Known World maps.

AFAIK the Beastmen wandered millenia ago from Northern Norwold into the HOLLOW World.

All (most) Humanoids seem to be descendants from the "original" beastmen.

When King Halav ruled Karameikos (Traladara) there would have been no more "original" Beastmen.

Translate Beastmen into Confederacy of Humanoids forged together by a strong leader ...

How about putting the final rest in the great Crater Region south of Glantri - When the meteor impacted former sealed caves could have opened and the tomb of the BEastmen leader coukld have been found again

Whishing that he came back a cult established itself to resurrect him...

...,... and Rock'n Roll - but Minis are fun too...

I believe the Area that was Nithia was within the Desert that is Now Ylaruam.  References are made in the Ylaruam Gazetteer to the Emirate of Nithia and the Dead Place.

Going with an Egyptian Mythos.  If you were to Turn Ylaruam 90 Degress Clockwise and Put a River in it with the Ocean to the South.  You would Put the Beastmen Near the Mountains in "Upper Nithia"
So If we Rotate everything Back Now.  That Puts the remains of the Beastmen Kings (or their old Stomping Grounds) In the Southeastern Mountains of Rockhome.

Hope this Helps.

I was just reading the Orcs Of Thar gazetteer (for The Broken Lands), and there were references to the Black Moon trolls being 'made' into gnolls. Those gnolls, according to the gazetteer, were the gnolls that invaded Traldar lands. It may be possible the gnolls returned to The Broken Lands carrying their dead king.

Did not read the part about Nithia, butFlokiaxe is quite right about Nitia being the modern Ylaruam.

I think the Immortals let the "river" dry up to punish the Nithian people - don't remember which crime :D

Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing somewhere that Ylaruam was, at one time, part of Nithia. The gnolls retreated from Karameikos, and some went to The Broken Lands. The others very well could have returned to Ylaruam/Nithia. Thanks!
