As Balist's body continues to stitch itself back together, he screams out in pain. The pain in his body will go away eventually, but will the pain inside ever go away? The anger, fury, and confusion that was inside Altair now also inhabits Balist.
Meanwhile, in the Belinor Forest, something new stirs. Something dark and sinister. They heed Balist's anger and fury, and in fact welcome it. These people strong with magic, are no strangers to combat, having to survive the wilds with its dangers, in addition to the reavers and spitters. These they eventually learn to control and harness their abilities. They learn fighting styles from them, and turn them into their pets, and shock troups. These dark-skinned creatures are no strangers to deception, or cunning. Born under the azure moon, they await for when the time is right, for they have heard of a distant land full of wealth and riches, and they want it! When their lord awakens again, they will be ready!
okay, I think over a week is long enough to wait for people to reply to me.
A cry of anger and frustration echoed through the mind of the forgemaiden (and, incidentally, anyone else nearby) as the Reaper railed against her inability to move. As she screamed, she inadvertantly tapped into the divine power that had laced itself through her body in blue ribbons of Godliness. Blue light shone from her dead eyes and hairline fractures appeared across the stone naga, light pushing its way out of her body. The cracks widened and then with a profound rattle, the stone statue broke open.
A skeletal form remained within the stone, connected by tendons. After a moment, it moved, hands clenching around bits of stone and skull shaking free the stone eyes that had stubbornly remained in place.
She looked down, and somehow could still see her now fleshless form.
"You stay away from me!" She cried into the mind of the Forgemaiden, turning and racing from the Forge.
She was in such a rush that she didn't realize that, for the first time in... centuries... she did not feel the Hunger.
Azha was complete.
The Zobaga looked and marveled at the finished product, the result of years of work.
The city was created from a nearly opaque blue stone that they had found in large quantities somewhere south of the Mist. In the middle of summer, the city seemed to glow with a bluish light as the rays of The Sun hit the stone and filled it with light. The Zobaga favored egg-shaped structures, which dominated the city, however the central structure was something else. A pinnacle of granite laced with the Saphirite that made the structure appear to be... written upon in a script that only the Gods knew. The building was dominated by tall exterior columns with no space between one another, forming a lattice-like appearance that surrounded the central nave, which stretched upwards.
And life was good.
~The Shattered Mountain~
The Beholders stayed within their caves. It was the height of summer and their skin was not able to deal with the deadly rays that burned their bodies within minutes. Instead, they dug INTO the mountain, building a network of tunnels and steadily increasing their numbers.
Altair stared for a long moment at Ilun then shook his head.
"Regardless, these beings give me an idea, Vasa and Vion. Look at how tireless they are! Balist was right. I have been being inefficient. The Sun will continue to be my sentinel, but I will also create beings to search for clues. Something strange is happening, Children... and I mean to get to the bottom of it."

The settlements and people around the forest began noticing small green skinned red eyed creatures watching them from the shadows of the forest, never more then a handful and never longer then mere seconds at a time but there glowing red eyes unnerved the people as they appeared and vanished again nightly.
Within the forest the shadows had become darker and a malevolent force had ben born from the lingering essence of the dark god of fear. Without a master the force had proclaimed itself a god in it’s own right and used it’s vast power to spawn a race that would warship it. These creatures spread threwout the forest digging there lair like homes within the earth and hiding them well, within there homes they spread towards there dark god slowly connecting the tribes into a massive city. Unlike normal cities though there were no trade, there was no shows of any kind, privacy and homes were also a foreign concept, these filthy creatures shared large group lairs, ownership was decided by who possessed the item and who was strong enough to take it from them. Leadership was decided by the priests who possessed unholy power gifted them by the dark entity they called there god. So it was that the hoared fo grean skinned creatures grew.

Opening his eyes for the first time in what seemed like days, the pain had finally stopped. Looking down at his almost regenerated hand and foot, it seemed clear that it would be soon to start gathering power and allies.
Soon it would be time to reaquire the mantle of magic once again, but for now he will be aquiring a new mantle... that of war! He changed his garments to better fit his new poise. His shoulders gaining guards, bracers, pauldrons, and a breastplate appeared also. Stretching his still skeletal hand out, its only a matter of time, and he knew it before war came upon the world. Altair asked for destruction and war, and so, he, Altair's grandson shall deliver!
~Belinor Forest~ The gith trained their young in arts of war, both magical and martial, and over time, they became stronger. Their huts became villages in the trees. Their villages eventually becoming small cities. And ever still they knew their time would come. They continued looking out over the seas knowing that a bounty and glory await them.
In this time, they also learn to breed the reavers and spitters, and thus growing the numbers of the domesticated creatures. They knew that there time would be coming soon also....
2PP Nourish: The githyanki thrive and grow under the guidance of their leaders. Growing ever stronger all the time. 1PP Nourish: The domesticated reavers and spitters under the control of the gith grow in numbers due to improved breeding.
Why do I not see any change? What happened to the basis of conquest? Certainly, the adaptations of the challenges I had thrown into place would change the common aspects of these mortals that live below, yet nothing has changed... as if the storms hadn't existed. Maybe meddling with other's affairs is not the best course of action...
No, that is how change flourishes. I shouldn't shy away from the world. I must expand my horizons. But what should the next course of action be?
Sifting through a cloud of ideas, Agnoth thought of several things he could do. Staring at the room which housed the blade, he decided it would be in the best interest to create his own personal artifact. With his staff in hand, he infused a portion of his powers into it and summoned forth a tiny stormcloud. The energy around absorbed the cloud and pulled it into rhe staff, where the symbols on the outside glowed a golden yellow. He was armed with his own weapon where he could defend himself from the harshness of the worlds that he knew.
3pp -- Forge: Staff of Storms-- Agnoth's personal weapon and artwork. It is the focus of his energies and useful as a defensive item whenever he has to fend for his own skin. This is a Combat artifact. 1pp remaining +1pp Sword +1pp Gandilayda
Altair floated some distance away from the others, to the east and south and eventually to the Plains where the Zobaga buried their dead. He pointed downwards towards the earth and... pulled.
Nearly five hundred beings pulled their way out of their graves, staring up at Altair as he continued to work, forming armor and wrapping it around their partially decayed forms, giving them the stability necessary to become more than mere zombies. To each of them, affixed across their leathery brows, Altair gave a jewel, pulled from the mines not far south to the surprise and consternation fo the Zobaga. Within these gems he placed his Light, so that these beings both knew him as Master and could use his Light to search.
"Children. First of your kind. You are called for a purpose that is vital. We must find my wife at once."
The beings below looked back at him blankly.
Altair frowned, then tried again. "Find Vega."
The dread warriors nodded and began moving off in all directions.
It was decided. They could not venture above ground for long, so others would have to do it for them. They needed slaves. Beings called "Elves" lived not far to the south.... and so a tunnel began to be dug beneath the earth, heading for the "Elves". In preparation, they also continued to grow their numbers.
3 PP: Ascend Exarch (Communal): Dread Warriors. These warriors are the Vanguard of Altair's newly invigorated search for his wife. Loyal to him, they provide harm PP against armies which they come up against. Individual warriors can be either created anew or freed from Altair's control via despelling or shattering the gem embedded within its forehead... although shattering will just turn it into a skeleton of roughly equal level. These gems can emit a blinding flash of light, which, like the Sun above, is profoundly dangerous to anyone who is unprepared. 1 PP: Nourish Populace: The Beholders grow in number 2 PP: Mold Land: A long tunnel is dug from the Shattered mountain to within a night's journey of the Elves.
The dark entity Garim had long marveled at the tree that so feared his followers, The tree had even managed a time or two to catch his own fears against him, however for him fear was the lesser power for where there was a guardian there surely was something to guard, So it was that Garim stealed himself and entered the dark cave, though he could see nothing his other sences reached out telling him where the walls were at. Deeper into the cave he delved, He knew not what was hidden within it’s depths however he could since divine power and felt whatever might lay here could be of use to him. So it was that garith Came upon Balist though the demi god could not see Balist under the cloak of darkness none the less he stood there staring blankly at where the healing god was.
Garim could sense the god but knew not what it was he senced, he struggled against the magical darkness that prevented his sight, could sense that some other creature owned this cave and therefore held power of his own sigh. This only intrigued him further as such a god might make a powerfull ally in the days to come.
Joran Left it open if you care to interact, Garim can’t actualy see you since as far as I am away you took ownership of the cave and didn’t wish to be seen though Garim can see in normal magical darkness I figured divin darkness was a bit beyond him.
Description of Garims: Garim is a shape changer able to assume any form he desires however very often he remains in his natural form which is little more then a dark cloud floating threw the air, He sometimes forms the cloud into a humanoid form but unless he has reason he remains a dark cloud.
Stargazer, its not magical or divine darkness that makes it so he can't see me, its that there is no light what so ever. So darkvision wouldn't work due to there being nothing to see. Garim (who by chance forced his way into the demi-plane btw as it was sealed off,) wouldn't be able to find Balist easily as he was trying to hide his presence from the other deities. Although that isn't to say an exarch like Garim couldn't find him as Balist doesn't know him yet.
Feeling chaffed by his new armor, he decides to alter the form to something a little more....comfortable. Long sweeping robes of leather now drape his form. A cloak of darkness hides his face and body. Dark leather bracers sweep up his arms leaving his hands free to move. As he changed he felt a new presence appear near him. One that shouldn't be there...
Appearing behind the being suddenly, two orbs focused upon the intruder, Balist reaches into the dark cloud with his skeletal hand and grabs hold of.... something. Its not quite solid, but not quite fully gaseous either. At least not to him.
"So, I see someone was brave enough to pass the tree and find a way through my portal. You have approximately 2 seconds to explain yourself before I squash you like a bug. And if you try to move or to resist, you will find yourself quickly extinguished. Did Altair send you to find me? No...he wouldn't use darkness like this. It was Vasa wasn't it? It was. She was never to fond of me.... Well? What are you waiting for? Explain yourself before you find yourself returning to her very quickly!"
Squeezing slightly tighter, Balist's eyes narrowed as a more important question quickly came to his mind, "How did you get in here any ways. I was certain to seal off the portal!"
