I'd say that too, but it's pretty out there to say that Genasi would be absolutely crazy not to be Warlords either.

The Cindersoul racial power is nigh awesome also if the DM uses RAW.
Why?
Two words: Death Box
Death boxes aren't RAW. As repeatedly pointed out by adventure authors, death boxes are a misunderstanding on the part of the DM.
The RAW reference is to all damage dice being reduced to 1 so that benefits everyone caught in the blast/burst. There have been times where multiple characters have ended up in said blast pattern, especially with status effects on them, where I've moved in to it in order to mitigate large amounts of damage to less durable allies.

I second Gunthar's bump of Avenger to black. Avengers need their primary stat a little less than others (due to OoE). And a Str bump let's you grab Power Attack more easily, which is a fantastic feat for Avengers.

1.I included Whirlwind Genasi, its movement versatility in fantstic 2. items will be in tips and tricks 3. I still think Avenger is purple, given that Pursuit avengers are that much better than Unity or Martyr. 4. I had included the cleric...but had written them down as Genasi 5. Warpriest changed to purple 6. Warlords changed to sky blue to avoid confusion Will ultimately include all PPs, but wanted to include the ones I would see people using the most initially I personally don't like Elemental Tempest. It's essentially replaced by a feat. Tempest lord is rather weak as a level 16 sixteen feature. Only the AP feature I like. The powers are subpar. I would rate it purple at best

Desert's Voice has gotta be blue or even light blue for Windsoul Genasi, making Windwalker at-will at 16th level. With all the stuff that can trigger off using it...
Swift Winds: No more OA's for movement. Elemental Empowerment: At-will arcane attack+damage bump. Elemental Blessing: At-will auto temps for you or an ally. Primordial Surge or the slightly stronger (with extra manifestation) Manifest Healing: Significant at-will auto temps for you. Buffeting Winds: Rearrange marked enemies as you please. Hunter of Wind and Wave: Make that a fly 10 at-will move action. Speed of Sea and Sky: Give allies a speed boost when you move.
Plus the powers while not amazing, are still decent. Just have to watch out for your allies. And the free extra desert racial power is nice, which will get the 16th level bonus too.

Reserved PPs Element Unchained Desert's Voice Wildfire Genasi Scion of Absence Whirlwind Genasi Elemental Tempest Steelsky Liberator Soul of Erosion (Those are the only Genasi related PPs I find worthy of black or higher. If anyone has any others they believe are up to this level, I will consider including them) Feats Eyes of Dying Light (req. Cindersoul)-Darkvision Elemental Recovery (req. Psionic class)-not worth a feat, esp for that cost
We have 58 Genasi feats. Certainly some are warranting attention, but when I undertake this I'll rate black or higher.

I can see your point, and I used to feel the same way until I saw a couple of things. 1. It's an Epic feat for dual manifestation 2. Tempest Lord takes Versatile Resistance, etc. right to the sweet spot of ongoing damage against common damage types and even works with items granting resists of those types.
That's why I'd put it at black for Defenders and Warlords, but it's a minor quibble really. I have it for a now 17th-level Swordmage and I've mitigated over 90 points of damage to myself a few times and that doesn't include having the DM re-aim bursts towards durable/higher defense party members with the squishiest being able to get in optimal position while leaving it as the only viable target in a blast with my defender.

Elemental blade attunement gives the dmg bonus to Swordmage implement attacks. Otherwise you have to use 2 feats to cover the one.

I just started work on my hybrid (oh, choices, how I love thee) swordmage/wizard. I'm working toward optimizing damage, so at 12th level, I have a staff of ruin, dragonshard augment, weapon & implement focuses, dual implement expertise, and an INT stat of 23. Now I have good melee basics thanks to Intelligent swordmaster, some cannon shots from being a wizard and solid striker, with a bit of save-my-buddy mixed in. I haven't played a genasi before, and I'm really kind of regretting it! With any luck, I'll hit things so fast and hard that my GM will ban the character away So, if there are any suggestions for something I should look at to improve my Genasi-ness, I would love to hear it. This forum looks like it's growing fast, good luck on it! I'll keep checking in on my latest favorite race.
