Last we heard from the fine fine folks at WOTC, the CB update, that many of us pay a subscription for, had been delayed for "several weeks". Now several weeks have passed and we have still not heard anything from the excellent and not at all deteriorating daily team.
There was promise perhaps 2 weeks ago from one person on the team that he would let us know what was happening. In a true show of what the whole DDI team is made of, he never did.
Just wanted to say thanks. DDI isn't getting worse at all and everyone on the team is doing a great job!

I'm shocked and dismayed!

Gaining victory through rules bias is a hollow victory and they know it.

The argument goes, that some idiot at the table might claim that because there is a "default" that is the only true way to play D&D. An idiotic misconception that should be quite easy to disprove just by reading the rules, coming to these forums, or sending a quick note off to Customer Support and sharing the inevitable response with the group. BTW, I'm not just talking about Next when I say this. Of course, D&D has always been this way since at least the late 70's when I began playing.

I think you have a right to be upset.
It's been 3 weeks since they said they would let us know. This is just poor customer service, no matter what a handful of people will tell you otherwise.
What's even worse it think, is that these handful of others, are acting like not a single thing is wrong, and that YOU are the problem for expecting someone at WoTC to actually follow up on what they say.
What will happen, whatever update they planned for May, will become the June update. And most likely not contain anything extra then what May was to have.
So far, WoTC's stated goal of having timely, monthly update and content, is falling short.

Insulting people is usually a good way to get them to do favors for you.

Unfortunately I must agree that as far as consistency is concerned they still have to hit the mark.

I note that WotC_Huscarl said he "should" be able to report back, and that he would pass on news "as it devlops." I don't see any promises in anything he said. Perhaps he couldn't report on what he learned, and there was no development to pass on.

I know that he has been on the road quite a bit for the past ouple of weeks being sent to various conventions here and there, (Note, not an excuse, giving a reason) so I suspect that is why we haven't gotten any information on what is going on yet.
I suspect that it is once again time to threaten to break out the mankini pics.
