Why is greatbow black while superior crossbow is sky blue? You would spend a feat (or minor action whenever you fire it) for less damage, less range, and a +1 bonus to attack rolls?

The +1 to hit is going to end up surpassing the slightly higher [W] in the end.  If you can't hit, you can't apply effects or damage anyway.

Wizards of the Coast can suck it.

I find that MC/hybrid Cleric and the Luckbringer of Tymora PP is very interesting; it has two encounter attack powers for potent AoE debuffing, solves the implement issue by itself and frees up a weapon proficiency feat slot, and has an encounter double-roll.

are there any ways to add thunder to tidal spirit shot so that you can take advantage of increasing the burst size?

Screaming Bow, level 4 uncommon changes all untyped damage done with it to thunder.

its one of the 3-6 or so best weapons a seeker can use for that reason

Insulting someones grammar on a forum is like losing to someone in a drag race and saying they were cheating by having racing stripes.

Not only do the two things not relate to each other (the logic behind the person's position, and their grammar) but you sound like an idiot for saying it (and you should, because its really stupid )

i was wanting to make a bolo build so would the SM class PP Malec-keth Janissary work? Or possibly using Gloves of Eldritch Admixture through mc'ing as a warlock?

EDIT:  Oops, my bad... just reread the gloves(acid, fire, or cold only to curse damage.)

I thought screaming bow doesn't add the damage type until after you hit with the bow, which is after the targeting step in the attack sequence.  Ergo, you wouldn't expand the size of the burst/blast retroactively since the targeting has been done.

Spellsoul blade (drow long knife) with thunder option could work, along with Malec-keth Jannisary (MC swordmage) or Honorable Blade (dragonborn MC martial class) PP's...

In epic, you could also go Avatar of Storm ED route provided you first added lightning keyword to your attacks (through lightning weapon or similar).

...

Does Rust Bark work if the Tidal Spirit Shot is acquired from Half-Elf Dilettante racial feature or Primal Sharpshooter feat (or both)?  Per update, reagents normally only work on encounter/daily powers, but is TSS treated as an encounter power in these cases?

as far as the question of are at-wills that are only useable once per encouter at wills or encounters, there is no rules for it. or rather there are several that contridict. it has never been clear in the rules.

if you change the damage type you add the keyword, that has not changed. when you hit a target with the bow it "deals thunder damage" so as soon as you hit a target with the power in your original area burst 1 it gains the keyword and becomes an area burst two.
realisticly its just easy to call it an area burst 2 then go though all that, given that wizards can exspand practily for free (and are better controlers then anyone else could hope to be) it is far from overpowered

if you use a bola you dont do damage, so you dont get your 1d4 of thunder, so the power does not have the thunder keyworld. though you could always pick one target to do damage to.

The section on Tidal Shot lists Polearm Momentum-based tweaks that don't actually work.  "Staggering Javelin" isn't a thing.

Looking for some tips on retraining priority for my Seeker. I suspect, barring some reason to call the session early, we'll probably be hitting 5th Level next session, and my current MO is "Spam Biting Swarm except on the round where the Warlord tells us to all use our most damaging attacks on the guy he just hit with Warlord's Strike". I'm looking for suggestions on how to prioritize my retraining over the next couple levels so that I can do more than just give enemies -2 to their attack rolls over and over again (even if that remains my bread and butter).

-------------------Copied from my CS------------------
Cat of Vaelhas Forest
4th Level Human Seeker

16 STR 10 CON 13 DEX 10 INT 18 WIS 8 CHA

18 AC 17 Fort 17 Ref 19 Will

Max HP 37 Bloodied 18 Surge Value 9 Surges/Day 7

At-Will Powers
1. Biting Swarm
2. Guardian Harrier
3. Thorn Cloud Shot (Bonus)

Encounter Powers
1. Spider Spirits
2. Burrowing Shot

Daily Powers
1. Spirit Rider

Utility Powers
1. Far Sight

Class Features:
*Seeker's Bond: Spiritbond
*Inevitable Shot
*Spirit's Rebuke

Feats:
1st Level: Distant Advantage
1st Level (Bonus): Weapon Proficiency Handaxe (Retrained to Shield Proficiency: Light at 4th Level)
2nd Level: Far Throw
4th Level: Weapon Expertise (Spear)

Trained Skills: Athletics, Insight, Nature, Perception, Stealth

Magic Items
+1 Distance Javelin
+1 Amulet of Health
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm thinking of steadily getting rid of every power that isn't Biting Swarm, though I might hold onto Spider Spirits for a while. Most of everyone else in our party being melee combatants, that -2 to defenses can be pretty deadly when the gang's all surrounding someone big. I figure I can hold off on retraining my 1st Level Daily since I'll be picking up a Daily at 5th Level, but outside of that, I'm not sure how I want to prioritize the rest of the changes.

The rest of my party, if it helps is a human Avenger MC Cleric, a Dragonborn Warlord, Dwarven Battlemind, and a Half-Elf Sorceror. Occasionally we have a Minotaur Paladin and a Human Rogue, but their schedules are erratic, so they're not reliably at the table every two weeks.

Also, I know I can't retrain class features, but is there anything preventing retraining my Bonus At-Will for Heroic Effort?
