As I posted elsewhere, Salve of Power lets you spend a surge to regain an encounter attack power, so you recharge blood drinker and then regain the surge you spent. Of course it's a minor action and daily item power for a net 1-3d10 extra damage depending on level, but it's something.
Just noticed this on the Character Bluider, all of the utility powers are no longer locked in and can be changed out for other utility powers you would otherwise have access to. Even the level 4 power can be changed out (which I thought was odd). Just thought I share the update with everyone.
I was looking at the tattoo of the unlucky, ironheart tattoo, strongheart tattoo, and eager heros tattoo. From what we have found in our game no matter how beaten up the party gets, the vampire just loses the daily power and keeps on going. Why not grab some item that has a good daily power, and hybrid artificer to keep recharging it? I'm using the rain of hammers ki focus and its minor action extra attack is pretty good, so far the party's artificer has been recharging it for me but why not work as a little self sufficient adventuring engine.

Artificers can only recharge any individual item once per day. So at most you get 2 daily uses of the ki focus power instead of 1, unless you have multiple copies of the item to recharge.
So, bringing this thread back up to ask about an actual Vampire... hybrid. It started as a Rogue MC Vampire, but then I was spending two feats, Vampirism and Martial Vampire... not having Martial Vampire would have sucked, since then I only had 2 surges and no way to gain any. But two feats hurts... and for flavor reasons, I'd like to be able to take some Vampire powers without spending feats for power swaps.

The basic idea here is to rely on Disheartening Strike and Sneak Attack. Dark Beckoning is mostly for fun and to pull. Vampire Slam as the bonus at-will is my melee basic attack, so I don't have to spend a feat or anything. Since I have Blood Drinker, that's another way to gain a surge, and extra damage... useful if I use Vampire Slam because I can't get CA. I can combine Low Slash (w/Sneak Attack) with any other power... for instance, pull with Dark Beckoning and then Low Slash. Swarm of Shadows... admitedly, I mainly took this because otherwise it's Unfettered Assasult at level 5 and I don't like that much. Plus, turn invisible.
Multiclass into Assassin.. yeah, why waste that feat? Extra skill+teleport. For skills, I took all three social skills, plus Perception and Stealth. I was going to just take Acrobatics, but I wanted to have Atheltics, too. So, I switched and then used a feat. Now I can teleport once per encounter, which could be useful for say, gaining flanking. Tumble... truthfully, I was tempted by the Gaze powers, but I want the level 6 bat one for flavor.
I'm open to suggestions here, I'm not even sure if I want to switch to hybrid. It's mainly to save feats while adding extra vampire flavor. I'm losing tons of accuracy comparied to the pure rogue using a dagger. I didn't even take Hybrid Talent, but if I did I think it'd be for Cunning Sneak. I'm also wondering if I should swap a skill for Endurance, since I lost a few surges due to failing skill checks during a challenge.

If you are going with Dark Beckoning, and need CA, I would suggest to consider taking Deadly Draw.
For those of you discussing Eager Hero's Tattoo remember that losing surges is not the same as spending surges.
True, but the combination of Martial Vampire and Reactive Surge will let you actually spend 1 per encounter without sapping your surge resources. So that will help...be funny to go enough encounters without an extended rest to where the temps are greater than your max HP...
My wife is playing a Tiefling Vampire refluffed as a half-succubus soon, and the DM is letting her take a Blazing Arc ki focus to add a bit of hellfireness to her melee attacks and the Infernal Prince theme because... Well, come on. It's the Infernal Prince theme.
Anyways, are there any good shenanigans for boosting a Vampire's fire damage? I know tieflings have a few tricks available to them, but I'm not super familiar with Tieflings.
I don't think there's anything specific to Vampires. Hellfire Blood is the obvious feat. It might be worth multiclassing Wizard for Hellfire Arcanist, but then again, it might not.
