The dinghy slushes along, checking to see if the back of the chariotbox is open, and if there's anything shiny inside, then slides past it to hunker down behind it.

 As Dr.Phobic examines the dead hoop, he notices there is a hole clean through its chest, and burned. He's never seen this kind of injury before... and the chariot has no "go juice" as its probably been sitting there for a while. Spidermonkey and Pilz remain conceiled in the bush awaiting what comes. The two humans who travel with you have both taken up spots on the back of the truck lying down while the Dingy lies at the rear of the truck, which has no back doors, and is empty, no "shinies". Five houndfolk emerge from the forest, growling at each other. They are moving very slowly, carrying axes and chains. The ones in the rear constantly snap at each other, growling. "Where is the long ears you spoke of?" one says to the leader, who is carrying a strange looking gun... "We leaves him on other side of that". he answers pointing to the truck, when he looks down at the dingy... "Whats that?" they pause and stare at it "It not here in the night".
Why did the hoop cross the road?

 As Dr.Phobic squeezes in between the cab and trailer... the other 3 PCs just stay where they are - I guess. Mane and Waye, atop the side of the trailer ready themselves... The lead Hound says to the two at the back "Check that out..."pointing to the dingy "...and circle around the other way." He leads the other two hounds down the length of the trailer, stopping to put his nose up in the air and sniff " I smell something..." The two hounds at the rear start kicking the dingy... wondering what it is when the leader calls out "Search inside the great chariot... I smell man creatures near!" Stepping on the dingy, they start to climb in the back of the trailer...

I say we tell them to drop their weapons and paw for the sky. With the two guys on the top of trailer moving towards the edge, Phobic coming out from behind the cab and Kid Viscous flanking around from the bushes to the right of the map, we'd have them more or less surrounded.
At the very least we should get a surprise round.
