Thanks! If you like that, allow me to shamelessly promote the rest of the work I've done adapting Avatar to DnD 4e, the current PDF detailing all four bender classes and a bunch of side material and the current forum thread where we update and people post feedback.
I'm one of the minds behind the Avatar the Last Airbender 4e Project. We're about a quarter of the way through releasing the revised PDF, containing all four bender classes, paragon paths, epic destinies and a menagerie of feats and items from the show. Come by and lend your mind to the swarm.

That is incredible. I love it. You might want to put Game System License stamp that wizards has on that though. It looks like it would comply so you probably don't want to get in any trouble with it. Too cool

hooray for last minute entries. I have another one that is done and I'll post it up next week onece the competition closes. It is just for fun, but actually might be something cool that people want to use as opposed to the mount entry that I already submitted :P

Less of a last-minute rush than I was expecting! Let the waiting for judgment commence...

time for some commentairy on the entries. Spoiler:
Show
Mostly comments that pop into mind while reading it. (1) I have a short attention span, so reading much text isn't my cup of tea (2) by it's nature, these comments will probbably have much more negative notes in them then positive notes. (as I tend to notice negative things faster then positive ones) I apologise for that
madaxematt's Barak the Juggernaut (Level 8 Brute) Spoiler:
Show
- first all, when reading the entry I'm getting slapped in the face with the complete block. for example; the mount apparently wants to avenge his master... ? It's like going from zero to fifty in 0.5 seconds. While all these stat blocks might make sense, I skipped them without reading to first get description & back stopry - interesting to use an NPC as mount. I don't get a 'mount' feeling though (the feeling I get - I admit, its probbably personal - is that you made an NPC and slapped the mount template on it)
Atua's Bubble of Keal'ni (Level 11 Minion Skirmisher) Spoiler:
Show
- using a minon as mount. seems ... *pop* there went your mount. For that reason, I would have added some sort of bubble machine to create a new mount - it seems to be missing a mount block (price to buy, ...) - the entry seem to have some good possiblilites, but non of them worked out
apzaboro's Bone golem (horse) (Level 10 Brute) Spoiler:
Show
- ah, the undead horse. a classic. - leaking energies seems high powered for a mount ability (way awesome outside combat) - usually the optional elements are added in the entry itself, not in the list of optional elements
shinobicow's Kaboomer Dragon (Level 5 Skirmisher Minion) Spoiler:
Show
- shivers with warcraft terrors. Not because I don't like warcraft (Warcraft 3 rocked), but because my DnD games usually aren't compatible with the setting. Exploding engines & (my) DnD goblins simply don't mix. - and from there it's going down hill... a self destructive animate construct dragon with talking issues ... Not my cop of tea.
ChimericPhase's Fey Racing Snail (Level 3 Brute) Spoiler:
Show
- short but fun - only downside is the 'medium' size (IIRC, I could be wrong, this means medium creatures won't be able to use it as mount)
RogerC's Elemental Steed (level 5 varied) Spoiler:
Show
- Earth Glide is overpowered. way overpowered (use it through the ground, or theough walls of a dungeon) - stone shielding is also quite powerfull ...
Pluisjen's Swaerte Bock (Level 12 Skirmisher) Spoiler:
Show
- aaah, a clasic. you didn't happen to read Suske & Wiske, did you? - I would have called the Swaerte Bock, 'Black Buck', but that's just me
UsagiYojimbo's Sky Bison (Level 5 and 15 Soldier) Spoiler:
Show
- seems like a solid entry. only sad that it's so Air Bender specific.

For years, I've lived a double life. In the day, I do my job - I ride the bus, roll up my sleeves with the hoi-polloi. But at night, I live a life of exhilaration, of missed heartbeats and adrenalin. And, if the truth be known a life of dubious virtue. I won't deny it - I've been engaged in violence, even indulged in it. I've maimed and killed adversaries, and not merely in self-defence. I've exhibited disregard for life, limb and property, and savoured every moment. You may not think it, to look of me but I have commanded armies, and conquered worlds. And though in achieving these things I've set morality aside, I have no regrets. For though I've led a double life, at least I can say - I've lived.

I read a lot of them... but my real inspiration would be Villa Volta from the Efteling.
Sounds so nice www.youtube.com/watch?v=QA-pxba5Z5c
Nice ride. As for Black Buck... I dunno. It's more English, but I kinda liked the Dutch-isms in the names.
Thanks for the comments!

Well, this was a really fun one. My alternate entry was a blinded Beholder Thrall which was used as pretty much just a bigger version of a flying force disc. I thought that would be a fun, thematic one to roll with.
