Here is a new set of Omega Tech cards for D&D Gamma World. (I didn't create backs for these because I just use card sleeves, and so I print them out on cardstock and slip them into the sleeves. If you need card backs, you'll have to make them up yourselves.) These cards use the templates created by zedofzombie and Nasty_Nick, and posted on the Gamma World forum at Wizards.com. Here's a complete listing of the set of 13:
- Psionic Passport
- Wibbly-Wobbly Sensor
- Hypersonic Spanner
- Gummy Badders
- D06
- Photonic Spanner
- Matter Compression Eradicator
- A.S.T.R.I.D. Key
- Psychotropic Lip Balm
- Sensory Strainer
- Cuboidal Blaster
- ??? (not yet available)
- ??? (not yet available)
The PDF file is about 2 MB, so it may take a little while to download. Download the Blue Box Omega Tech Cards Here!

Those are pretty cool Pretty obvious what Doctor they are inspired by.. 12 and 13 missing? May I suggest a time loop effect that puts "you" in the same picture twice? And how about and utter stroke of genius brought on by seeming chaos from a corner you'd least expect it? "This isn't a cooky its a button that makes the bluebox self destruct and will take the entire planet with it!"

Oh, and for practice and a learning experience, I tried making up some Omega Tech cards for the misfit Omega Tech in the Christmas adventure. I got better as I went along, and so I don't think these ones are as good as the Blue Box set. Also, there's a heck of a lot of text to fit on them, and I think the font is too small to be readable. boldpueblo.com/downloads/gammaworld/GW-m...

Very Amusing Sadly, the references will probably be lost on most of my group.

Some thoughts:
* D06 (love the name) - I'd like to see this salvages without the laser and skill bonus (he can still tie up terrain hamper the enemy to provide defense).
* The two Spanners - When readied it would be cool if they allowed skill checks to performed at 2 squares range. Salvage versions that retain that ability, but loose the damage, would be spiffy.
* Wibbly-Wobbly Sensor (far better then the Timey-Wimey Stuff Sensor I suppose) - I'd like it better if it had an optional use to scan the area or somesuch. Maybe in an abstract way like reporting the total levels of all mutants in the area (including the PCs): "Erm, 43? We have 8 levels unaccounted for: This can't turn out well."
Ideas for the two missing cards: - The Flux Backhander: Arm slot device similar in use to the ASTRID but without the healing and only a minor action to use. - Hand in a Tube : Can be used once to grow a duplicate you! But the clone is basically a civilian version: No gear (at least at first), no ability to use powers (or alphas), and stuck at level 1. The latter two restrictions would end if the original you dies or ends up permanently stuck in another dimension...

It took me awhile to realize it, but I think the "missing" two are missing on purpose.
It's a set of thirteen, but we only have eleven so far.
Did I catch that correctly, Oraibi?
(Of course, per some recent sources, the total size of the set would have to be 507 -- or possibly 518 -- instead.)

Do you get any special bonuses if your origin is Alien/Temporal?
Yet again, you've made another great accesory for Gamma World, thank-you.

These will go nicely with the Doctor Who themed adventure I am running.
