Not so good for NOVA, but the damage is more than decent. The build I put up a few posts back has a 1d10+20 MBA at level 10, and it's not at all optimized for damage or any sort of NOVA. Could have gone AIP/DIS, go Sohei or Guardian, once in Paragon go frostcheese or even radiant, not to mention you can grab some great Warlock powers.

Do the Gloves of Ice allow you to make all attacks with the cold energy type -- even ranged? Or is it just melee? Oh, I was wondering where the CS answer on AIP/DIS is? Did they put it in the eratta? Can't find it and it wasn't on the Builder last time I checked. Yeah, I couldn't resist Frostcheese for the Feylock . Pretty much a gimme. Haven't looked at Sohei or Guardian yet. What benis do those have?

Gloves of Ice don't change your damage type at all. They add extra cold damage when you're already dealing cold damage. You need to be dealing cold damage first.

It's been confirmed that it works, yes. It does NOT calculate it properly in the builder, however, so you'll have to add the bonus yourself.

Note that if you follow those directions you actually end up getting the bonus three times thanks to an error in the way they phrased it: you're going to add the pact weapon once and the implement once, not the pact weapon once and the implement twice.

LOL! They can't seem to get it right, can they?
I was looking at Armor of Agathys and came up with another question. What modifies it?
It seems like Silvery Glow would as well as the Pact reward and the frost cheese. But would an item bonus with the descriptor 'adds to cold damage rolls?' Or would the item bonus not apply since there is no keyword.
Let's see....
What I'm looking at is 1d6 +1 (Con) +6 (pact reward) +3 (silvery glow) +5 (lasting frost) (Possibly +2 item bonus??)
1d6 +15/17?

I'm not certain Armor of Agathys is an actual damage roll... either way, aren't there much better options for a Daily 1?

Armor of Agathys is a damage roll, it just is lacking in most useful keywords.

It also doesn't hit, so that is a bunch of possible modifiers gone as well.
