And your work was appreciated dbmeboy! Now my first level hunter can't summon his celestial steed.
Aww, that was such a fun error...

I've turned off auto-renew. I wish more companies would realize that when something which is supposed to make a product harder to pirate also makes it a worse product, that will just encourage people to seek alternatives (including pirated alternatives, of course) which haven't been crippled. Certainly companies which haven't figured this out won't get my business.

Cancelled, demanded (and received a refund), and complained vociferously about the steaming pile that is the Web-based character builder.
I have been given access through the end of my subscription period. I have been given a (roughly) $17 refund. And, I have been given a customer service survey to complete.
Kind of sad that the best customer service I have received from WotC was in the process of severing my relationship with them.

I disabled autorenew. I'm trying to give the new character builder a chance in the time before my subscription ends, but I tend to enjoy hybrid and multiclassed characters, and a large proportion of the bugs and missing content in the new character builder seem to affect those types of characters. It really is easier and less frustrating to make my characters with pencil and paper.

I have a yearly subscription and I'm going to give WotC until my renewal comes up to grow some sack and admit what a complete clusterf*#! this whole mess has been.

I'm a DnD noob (but on-and-off roleplayer for almost 30 years) that got interested in 4e after hearing the Penny Arcade podcasts, and decided to force my friends to play . I've been using the demo version of the offline CB, but finally decided to subscribe to get the full version....and did not realise until I got a months subscription that there was a new online CB. (Oups ) After this it took me about a week and a half to get the offline CB to update to the full version (same problem with it hanging at 100% updating as many others have reported). I agree that the new CB is a waste of space until it has at least the same features as the old CB. And my auto-renew is off until I see a reason to subscribe again. I mainly wanted to update the CB to get it to print ritual cards that actually had the ritual descriptions on them. And the new CB has no ritual cards at all, so...yeah. /S

I can't put into words how much I hate the new CB. I feel cheated losing a tool I loved for a tool I literally hate now.. Thanks a lot Wotc I will take me off auto-renew. Hopefully Wotc will fix things until then. I feel like I am back to using E-tools again...
