I really like the flavor of using an alternate economy for awarding treasure. Grand Master training allows DM's the ability to give players extra powers even in a 'low magic' environment. The concept of gaining training to bestow a power similar to a magic item sounds fun to play and provides even more adventure hooks if needed.

Works fine for me (Chrome), but the compression used on the artwork is way too high, the image has lots of artefacts. Can that get sorted for the complied Dragon?

Likewise, it won't open for me in Firefox, but it will in Safari.

I really like this idea too. I haven't been a fan of the lack of flavour when it comes to magic items but this seems to be one advantage of a very modular magic item system. We try for a relatively low magic system (using inherent bonuses instead) and I think this sort of thing will tie in very nicely.

Very weird - I had the exact opposite experience (i.e. it works for me in Opera, but not in Chrome).
