Some more tracks that I think would be a great fit:
Suede - Stay Together (Full Version) The B-52's - Rock Lobster - that vaguely sounds like a true gamma monster The Beatles - Help! King Crimson - 21st Century Schizoid Man Vangelis - One More Kiss, Dear (part of Blade Runner soundtrack and very Falloutish) Muse - Knights of Cydonia Pink Floyd - Is There Anybody Out There? Pixies - Wave of Mutilation Porcupine Tree - Radioactive Toy The Shortwave Set - Replica

Moby....I like Play it feels to me like something that was made form pieces and parts. Cage the Elephant.....and the rest of the Borderlands sound track. I also like a few things out of "Age of Conan" sound track.....

Check out " Barra Barra" from the Blackhawk Down soundtrack. It's a tribal-sounding Arabic song that's just perfect for a GW marketplace or tavern or other "alien feel" place. And to second it, the Borderlands soundtrack, along with the ending credits tune " No Heaven" by Champion, are perfect as well.

Since I record my sessions, I am looking for music that I can use legally as part of my game. I have come up with Ghosts I-IV and The Slip which are Creative Commons releases. I also am adding a lot of things from the experimental section of the community audio section of the Internet Archive. This is a particularly good soundtrack for a GW game. www.archive.org/details/Zum-tunguskaThere are lots of other dark atmospheric tracks there also. And some truly weird stuff like www.archive.org/details/residuum-i_am_si... where they take a minute long text as read by a computer and playing it back into the room to record it again. They then do that over and over 59 times. The slight delay imposed by each of the recordings turns it into just a ambient soundscape after about 30 recordings and you can't recognize words anymore, it has just turned into music. I am going to put all 59 tracks scattered throughout my game mix and see if anyone gets suspicous about it.
