I think you misread that quote in the same way that I did when I first encountered it.  It doesn't say they are undeserved customers, it says they are underserved customers.

Ha. So I did. Actually, it took me about ten seconds to figure out the distinction between the two words you were saying.

Despite that, you did seem to get the viewpoint correct.

Err... that's because it was just a typo! I can read good! Super good! I can totally make the distinction between a "R"s and... not-"R"s...

I don't use emoticons, and I'm also pretty pleasant. So if I say something that's rude or insulting, it's probably a joke.

Or even less. 20 is a miserable amount. I'd be fine with 100, with the option to upgrade your account for more space.

Of course what you guys say matters!  But there are some things - like the offline access option - that are not possible, sorry.

It's my honest opinion that the new CB is the product of corporate greed, as a way to force everyone to maintain an active subscription in order to access the characters they have stored in the system.

I personally have no intention on ever using the new CB and will also be suggesting to the players in my games at the FLGS that everyone consider donating to a fund for a reference library of D&D books. I will be asking those who do choose to waste money on keeping a DDi subscription to help out by taking turns printing copies of Dragon/Dungeon articles that can be put into binders for our library.

I feel that this is going to be the only way to provide new players the same options to their characters as anyone else, without forcing the FLGS to allow "strangers" to have access to their business computer/internet in order to make a character.

**It is a sad day indeed when an Organizer, who promotes a game, is put in a position of suggesting that the players not spend their money on something related to the game.

Links that I find very useful, will be added here.
