Havent seen any real posting from litigation in about 4 months now.. Somebody should step up and update the guide to include, lances, lancing gloves and and the unique potential of a purely mount based build.
Heroes Armor +2 defenses on action Point
Human + Action point feat support
Feat : Expert Trample Feat: Holy Steed (+2 Defenses and +Cha Damage to mount attacks and
Heavy Barding (enchanted with the Damage resistance mount slot item)
Adroit Explorer PP or Sidhe Lord Theme?
Player Charges up to an enemy doing heavy damage with the lance then action points to plow through the rest of field (with the celestial warhorse trample power) with the mount being essentially immune to attack. Damage is not very considerable but it certainly is thematic

When determining the origin square for effects while mounted on a large or larger creature, you pick one square of the mount- this means that close attacks don't get bigger when mounted. However, auras are defined as emanations without origin squares. As a result, the consensus is pretty much that the Cavalier's aura extends to each square adjacent to his or her mount.
It's a reasonable interpretation, but expect some table variation, because AFAIK, there has never been any official clarification on the topic.

-.- Man, I've read your guide but I never see an explnation on why REALLY they are better mounted combat warriors than Paladins... I'be been reading Essentials, DP and PHB and I don't see anything related to mounts... both classes

The scaling mounts are the main reason.
Summoned Steed (D 393): This is what you meant to take. Nothing like getting a level-scaling mount on command. Mounts aren't suitable in all situations, but when they are feasible they are a HUGE asset. And just having the ability to call a mount for such situations, even if they don't turn up as often as you'd like, sure beats a bonus to non-combat mount speed any day. The power, Call Celestial Steed, can be cast twice a day, so you have some leeway on how you handle situations that come up during the day when a mount is or isn't feasible. The default mount is a celestial warhorse, which comes with a speed of 8, a +5 bonus to your charge damage with the Mounted Combat feat and a solid Trample encounter power against Medium or smaller targets. A good starter mount, and you can take feats later to claim an even better one.
