I've got to say i'm a big fan of the new character sheets - it makes everything a lot clearer for my players.
But I would like the option off being able too add 'illegal' elements: such as giving everyone an epertise or tribal feat for free.
I would also like to be able to edit the text of items (so I can make custom ones)

I second this. I'm new to DDI but I was under the impression that at one point you were able to add stuff "illegally", and there was just a disclaimer or some sort of symbol that showed that the character was not legal.
Perhaps if there was some sort of layout so if, for example you wanted to add a new magic weapon, you could fill in the essential qualities of the weapon such as prof. bonus, weapon dmg and enhancement bonuses so it could still add everything up for all your powers and such but leave special abilities to be typed out by the creator. Something like if you create a new monster in monster builder and create new attacks and abilities.

Most of that stuff isn't 3.5 specific. You need the sames things you did then. I.e. your DM's permission, and a pen.
Oh, and You can "upload" pictures now.

F-111 Interdictor Long (200+ squares) distance ally teleporter. With some warlord stuff. Broken in a plot way, not a power way. Thought Switch Higher level build that grants upto 14 attacks on turn 1. If your allies play along, it's broken. Elven Critters Crit op with crit generation. 5 of these will end anything. Broken. King Fisher Does an excellent job at keeping an enemy disabled in a few ways. Strong. Boominator Fun catch-22 booming blade build with either strong or completely broken damage depending on your reading. Very Distracting Warlock Lot's of dazing and major penalties to hit. Overpowered. Pocket Protector Pixie Stealth Knight. Maximizing the defender's aura by being in an ally's/enemy's square. Yakuza NinjIntimiAdin: Perma-stealth Striker that offers a little protection for ally's, and can intimidate bloodied enemies. Very Strong. Chargeburgler with cheese Ranged attacks at the end of a charge along with perma-stealth. Solid, could be overpowered if tweaked. Void Defender Defends giving a penalty to hit anyone but him, then removing himself from play. Can get somewhat broken in epic. Scry and Die Attacking from around corners, while staying hidden. Moderate to broken, depending on the situation. Skimisher Fly in, attack, and fly away. Also prevents enemies from coming close. Moderate to Broken depending on the enemy, but shouldn't make the game un-fun, as the rest of your team is at risk, and you have enough weaknesses. Indestructible Simply won't die, even if you sleep though combat. Sir Robin (Bravely Charge Away) He automatically slows and pushes an enemy (5 squares), while charging away. Hard to rate it's power level, since it's terrain dependent. Death's Gatekeeper A fun twist on a healic, making your party "unkillable". Overpowered to Broken, but shouldn't actually make the game un-fun, just TPK proof. Death's Gatekeeper mk2, (Stealth Edition) Make your party "unkillable", and you hidden, while doing solid damage. Stronger then the above, but also easier for a DM to shut down. Broken, until your DM get's enough of it. Domination and Death Dominate everything then kill them quickly. Only works @ 30, but is broken multiple ways. Battlemind Mc Prone-Daze Protecting your allies by keeping enemies away. Quite powerful. The Retaliator Getting hit deals more damage to the enemy then you receive yourself, and you can take plenty of hits. Heavy item dependency, Broken. Dead Kobold Transit Teleports 98 squares a turn, and can bring someone along for the ride. Not fully built, so i can't judge the power Psilent Guardian Protect your allies, while being invisible. Overpowered, possibly broken Unnamed Avenger|Runepriest/Hammer of Vengance Do lot's of damage while boosting your teams. Strong to slightly overpowered. Charedent BarrageA charging ardent. Fine in a normal team, overpowered if there are 2 together, and easily broken in teams of 5. Super Knight A tough, sticky, high damage knight. Strong. Super Duper Knight Basically the same as super knight, only far more broken. Mora, the unkillable avenger Solid damage, while being neigh indestuctable. Overpowered, but not broken. Swordburst Maximus At-Will Close Burst 3 that slide and prones. Protects allies with off actions. Strong, possibly over powered with the right party.

Unless he's referring to the (3.x ?) book "Powers and Options" in which case he'll have to wait for an equivalent book to be published for 4e for such to be in the builder.
Option B: Write his own builder that uses his own DB and he can put whatever he wants in it.

On Heroic characters there is a big blank area on the features page.
Can you put the animal copanions there, please?

Could we please please please get a character sheet style that doesn't look completely horrible? The one the old offline CB used was fine. As a graphic designer, the current options in the silverlight CB make me want to cry.
Everything is poorly rendered, badly aligned, weirdly spaced. The equipment guy silhouette thing on the second page -- what is that? Seriously. Text butts up against things all over the place. Whatever that curvy/pointy shape thing is supposed to be, it's really not worthy of getting slapped on everything. And the fonts. Optima and what, Verdana? Why?? The text in the background of a bunch of fields isn't helping legibility either.
Again, the old sheets weren't amazing or anything, but they were fine. You still have them on the site to download as a PDF. Why can't you apply that style in the online CB?

Option C: He could post his list of requested features in the forum thread titled " Directed Discussion: Online CB - Requested Features ".
Oh wait... thats what he did.

I am sorry if this is all redundant, but going through 48 pages to see if any of this has been mentioned is very time consuming.
Here are three changes I would like to see to the Chracter Builder please:
• iPad App. This would be awesome in so many ways. • Being able to arrange the power cards in any order you like. Our group is not crazy about cutting them up as cards. • Also having it to were the bottom of the character sheets are not cut off when you print them out (it is not our printer or settings doing that).
Thank you and keep up the good work \m/
