sorry for the extra post, maybe the creature starting all this came forth from a dream (prefferably a dream dreamt by this goddess!)

A goddess's murder by adventures creating the world? Sounds a little like Marduk and Tiamat (tho' Tiamat was also considered a monster).
2. A goddess, or I could go with 10. A mortal woman (whichever needs a vote in the end to win).
1. Suicide. Because this world is about dreams, a more introverted problem seems more suited. Or perhaps, an adventurer stole our goddess's heart, and to be with him/her (whatever), and mortal, she gave it to him. A god without her heart is no longer immortal. Perhaps some called this murder who knew not the whole story.
If she were mortal, perhaps she killed herself to escape a god's attention, and the god killed himself to follow her?
6. 50,010+. The story should be so distant in time it seems completely alien, even imaginary, like a root of remembered legends that is itself forgotten, as if all our world's world-flood/rebirth myths (Noah's Ark, Deucalion and Pyrrha, the Epic of Gilgamesh, the Native American turtle) were all based on a single event, and the arks were really refugee spaceships fleeing a terra-forming catastrophe.
The reason we know the year at all is because the heart that was removed is still immortal, and set beneath a clock tower in the center of the world, and the numbers keep going up.
Of course, if no one else picks 50, 010+, I may want to change my vote later: any of the most loooong ago choices that could use a boost, for the reasons stated above.

ah the years right, I'll chip in on the oldest 50,010+ world, the heart story sounds cool but I can't seem to find the roots of the dreamstory inside it... Maybe she met her love in a dream and unable to accept this she used/gave up her divine spark to stay in this dreamworld forever empowering this dreamworld to walk the earth she left...
BAM! yeah :D
I wanna change my murder to suicide! :O

~Round IV~ Who died? Feel free to describe him or her. 1. a god * 2. a goddess ****** 3. a demigod 4. a demigoddess 5. an angelic being (female) 6. an angelic being (male) * 7. a demonic being (female) 8. a demonic being (male) 9. a mortal man * 10. a mortal woman ** What caused his/her death? Feel free to describe it. 1. suicide *** 2. natural causes 3. murder ******* 4. assassination 5. accident * How long ago was it? Since its 2,010 by the Gregorian Calendar I wanted a “010” at the end. 1. 5,010 **** 2. 10,010 3. 15,010 ** 4. 20,010 ** 5. 35,010 * 6. 50,010+ ** Thank you Dreamstryder and Islandowne for your votes/comments; lets end Round IV tomorrow morning. I think that is enough time for some final votes. Round V will be all about the physical makeup of the world and its surroundings. That will definitely lead to some interesting results. I would actually like to see a circular world, but we can always debate that. I find that what I had thought was the Way I would go changes when I start these rounds. The feedback and comments have been amazing. Thank you for helping me makes this “dream” into a reality. : )

Round IV IS OVER! THE WINNERS ARE #2, #3, AND #1!!!!
A Goddess was Murdered 5,010 years ago, which started the calendar. This has to be the reason why there are no Gods currently in this world, but they were replaced by some kind of other forces. Who, or what, murdered Her, and why? That is the question that I will answer. Round V is coming soon....

The world originally was...
1. a normal planet 2. a ball 3. an egg 4. a head 5. a rock or stone 6. a crystal or jewel 7. a globe or sphere 8. a hand closed into a fist 9. an eye 10. a crumbled up piece of paper
How many moons does the world have?
1. None 2. 1 3. 2 4. 3 5. 4 6. 5 7. 6 8. 7 9. 8 10. 9+
How many other worlds are in this solar system?
1. None 2. 1 3. 2 4. 3 5. 4 6. 5 7. 6 8. 7 9. 8 10. 9+
As write this I make the assumption that it is a circular world orbiting a circular Sun, but aside from that feel free to mess around with it. I am working on the Murder of the Goddess 5,010 years ago, but I am almost certain that she was the Goddess of Dreams, her soul went into the Domain of Dreams, the other gods either left or were destroyed as a direct result of her death, and her death is the reason that dreams are so real in this world. It answers a lot of questions, but it also creates new ones.
Who killed her? I don't think the other gods knew who did it. It was something powerful enough to kill a god, which had never happened before. OK, let me ponder this a bit, but feel free to start voting....

I decided to get the voting started by using an online, random 1d10 roller, and my results were 9, 4, and 5; the world was orignally an Eye, there are 3 moons, and 4 other worlds in this solar system. I don't know yet what it all means, but as the voting progresses I will learn more. Thanks for your votes! : )

Well, I guess I'll go with... 9. eye: dreams and all. Perhaps the world ends again once the eye opens. Now, mayhaps it's an eyeball, but perhaps it's an eye in a more figurative sense, like the eye of a storm...and a figurative eye can still open. Moons? I really don't know. Maybe I'll post again when I do (just about the moons, tho', so I'm not counted twice by mistake). 5. 4 other worlds: one for each of the human senses; however, it shouldn't formulate what is in each world; no one should be able to predict what is in each world based on the sense (that would be boring). For all I know, the other worlds are eyes too.

5. a rock or stone please don´t put in another story revolving around this, it would add too much, meaning more loss than gain to the story.
4. 3 just enough for the active pc to remember
1. None no reason to add if you can just make up another continent whenever you think it necesary or feel like it =)
