I just checked the content calendar for Nov and well I have to say NO.
And that would be because there is *nothing* on the content calendar for November yet, not because this one update isn't mentioned.

A new question for Mudbunny:
Is Known Issues List for Character Builder being fully maintained? I see the last updated date change now and then, but none of my reported issues have ever actually reached that list and there have been updates without fixes.
I will poke and find out.
Could you please poke on the MB errata threat that Trevor started? It is painfully devoid of any sign of WotC or VCL participation.
I will poke about that as well.
It may be a couple of days, as Trevor had a touch of food poisoning yesterday that required a trip to the ER, and I don't know if he will be back today or not.

The last word received said the next update will be on 11/2 and that they are "back on track" with updates. Unfortunately, we have had no word as to the content of the update as of yet. Given that it is only a week away, I find it doubtful that they will let us know before they actually update.

Maybe I missed, but will ask anyway. Are we getting an update to the Char builder next Tuesday? Does anyone have any info?

We were also going to be getting a tools update with Essentials and Dark Sun on September 21, remember? And in "Early October". Forgive me if I have exactly zero confidence in anything happening "November 16".

No you did not get those updates since they were going to the online character builder. They are not updating the old builder they were just trying to buy time. There will be a character builder on nov 16. It may not have everything and honestly it is not suprising since they want to reinvent the wheel.

There will be a character builder on nov 16. It may not have everything and honestly it is not suprising since they want to reinvent the wheel.
Which means, even if you are as charitable as possible, that they thought they would have it out on the 21st of September, then when that fell through just a couple of weeks after that. Apparently they now think they will have it ready on the 16th of November. Their track record to date says they won't.
If a miracle occurs and we DO have one on the 16th, then yay. But I think the odds of me being struck by lightning on the way home from buying a winning lottery ticket are better than the odds that I will be able to make a Dark Sun character on an online version of the CB on 11/16.
