Updated with a link to AlphaTheGreat's TO Manifesto. I've read the manifesto and agree with it's sentiments, plus I feel it has a place alongside this threads definition of the forums and CO in general.

webchat.freenode.net/ is the java client for freenode; if you don't have an IRC client, this will work (and mibbit doesn't work, so its about the only way on if you're not willing to download one). If you're going to go there often; I'd suggest getting mIRC or Icechat or some other client.
The channel is ##4ECO. Capitalization doesn't matter.
