So, if I get this right, this makes Shadow Band a really powerful item for anyone who wants to be part of the club, as you can always remain Hidden?

No.  Remaining Hidden requires that you not attack, not make noise, etc - even with the Total Concealment granted by the ring's Daily, you do not remain Hidden if you do those things.

It *does* mean you stay invisible, though, which makes it really easy to BECOME Hidden, to to keep Hidden as long as you don't break any of the other rules.

Confused about Stealth?  Think "invisibility" means "take the mini off the board to make people guess?"  You need to check out The Rules Of Hidden Club.

Damage types and resistances:  A working house rule.

Ah, I am aware that attacking breaks Rule #4, so I wasn't even talking about that. I only meant "running around Hidden". That should be possible with the ring (though you have to reroll stealth after every move action, but in theory, it should be possible).

Absolutely!  You will always have the Cover/Concealment requirement met, unless you walk into someone with Truesight or Tremorsense or something.

This is very, very powerful.  And so it's hard to do.  If you're just going Hidden to get Combat Advantage, it's actually a lot easier - but you don't get the immunity to attacks that way.

How is it easier to get hidden if you only want CA?
I dont want the immunity to attacks, i just want the CA.
Is there any other way to get CA using stealth?

Sorry if you already answered this, but this thread is realy long

He means it is easier to get CA than it is to be hidden.  If you are not trying to be hidden, there are a bunch of ways to get CA.

I should clarify:  Being Hidden grants you CA, and if that's all you want, all you have to do is be Hidden and not care that people will still know where you are.  You will get CA from being Hidden, but people will still be able to attack you because you won't have moved.

If you want people to not know where you are (and thus to make you immune to most attacks), it's REALLY HARD to still attack.

That's what I meant.

Kind of.  More, "If all you care about is CA, Hidden is easy to use and still attack.  If you want to avoid attacks, Hidden is HARD."

I asked in the Q&A thread, but this seems the better place to discuss this.

What about mounted stealthing? I don't want my charachter's mount to stealth, just my charachter.

Specifically, a Gnome Cunning Sneak Rogue | Sentinel of the Wastes.

The Gnome is mounted on the Living Zephyr. Whenever Initiative starts, I should be able to make a Stealth check immediately.

What I'm trying to figure out is after I attack on that first turn, if I then move my mount at least three squares, can I make a stealth check?

Taken you meet all the Stealth requirements and that the movement is not part of the same action as the attack, yes.

After posting that I went earlier in the thread and thought I saw a post that voided it. Something about the fact that when you take a move action to move your mount, it's your mount that's moving, not you, so you can't stealth.

Is that not true, or was it changed at some time? Cunning Sneak does say "end a move acton."

The requirements for stealthing are met by combining the obscured squares from the Living Zephyr's aura with Cunning Sneak (move more than three, any concealment or cover, you can stealth).
