Switch to Forum Live View Bonus to defense against Range attacks

Is a bonus to all defenses against Ranged attacks equal to a secondary ability score modifier for a melee class build feature overpowered?

That should be better than the bonus granted by the Cloak of Distortion - unless the secondary ability is really bad for some reason - and it doesn't have the range restriction that the cloak does.  So, yes, it feels overpowered to me as a class feature.
