Why is there 3 at wills for level 1? I can only select 2.

If you're using the character builder humans have 2 racial options: an encounter attack power or a 3rd at will. The encounter attack power is selected by default - you will have to change that.

Question about grab bonuses. if an item or feat gives you a +2 or +4 to grab atacks does that mean if you do a non-damage attack that is specifically a grab attack you get a + to it, or could it also mean if I do grappling strike I get a + to it since it is an attack in which you grab?
Unfortunately for us, a grab attack is a very specific thing, so you'd only get that bonus to the grab attacks.

Then is it worth it to take improved grab because I think mostly for my grabs I would use grappling strike right?

It depends on your target; the grab attack will have the advantages of that (with Improved Grab) it will be insanely accurate, and that as long as you keep sustaining it, you keep grabbing the target (so it frees you up to lay other powers on the target, like Vicious Uppercut, instead of having to spam Grappling Strike to keep the target grabbed). Grappling Strike has the advantage of dealing damage by default, and allowing you to grab Huge and Gargantuan targets by default. I've found that it's good to have the feat.

Good points I made a Net flavor of this build so instead of the feat improved grab I will just get grizzly gaunts and still retain a bonus to grabs but I will take vicious advantage so I can get CA against people I have slowed, with my net that is everyone I hit.

Hey there,
I got an idea for a build that I'd jump on in a second if I needed an Eberron character. I call it "Drow Scorpion Grappler." It would basically be a twist on the Butcher variant of this build; once the opponent is prone, the scorpion's "sting" (drow long knife) carves them to pieces. I haven't really fleshed it out yet, but does anyone thing there's a reason that wouldn't work?

Are you considering Drow as a race? Because that would be pretty sub-optimal - Grapplers need that Strength bonus badly. The Drow Long Knife would work fine, though you would be giving up damage for no real good reason. I guess it CAN work, but you certainly won't get top-level performance out of it.

Hi,
Yeah, his race would be drow. I get that would be a less-than-perfect choice from a mechanics standpoint, but sometimes I get these oddball concept builds rattling around my brain, and I like to see if I can make them work, at least up to the doesn't-totally-stink level.
