After hearing (for lack of a better word; Caltabactos lacked ears of any sort) the Monarch's voice, the hand rolled over onto its side, tucked in its fingers, and shot its thumb up in the air. Caltabactos debated whether to call it a fingers-in or a thumbs-up.

The Queen gave a little gasp.
"Everyone! Everyone please quiet down!" she said, quite unnecessarily for no one was speaking, "Dearie me, I think he's trying to tell us something."
She gazed intently at the hand and offered it a consoling smile.
"Please dear, don't be afraid, what's wrong?" she asked, "Are you in terrible terrible pain? I don't think I could imagine a worse fate, please dear, show us!"

Caltabactos bounced up on its wrist-stump, and streched its fingers far apart from eachother. After a moment, the hand realized that the others probably couldn't understand its made-up hand gestures, so it came up with an alternative.
The skin forming the wrist-stump started expanding, growing into a forearm that the hand was attached to. The sinew, bone, and flesh continued to grow outward, until a fleshy torso was formed. The torso grew new appendages, until it had a fully formed humanoid body, complete with a featureless face, two arms, legs, and four fingered hands.
The skin of the face began to ripple, as would the surface of a lake after a single drop falls on its calm surface. In the ripples' wake, a small nose was formed, smiling lips, two brilliant violet eyes, and a clump of messy, purple hair. He was completely naked, and his skin was smooth and pale.
Smiling mischieveously, he addressed the kind Monarch.
"Goodbye!"
He blinked twice, frowning as he realized he said the wrong thing.
"Ah, wait, let me try that again!"
A flash of light and a puff of smoke occured, and the body vanished, replaced once again by the hand. Flesh started forming from the wrist stump, and the whole proccess began anew. When the entire body had been formed, he looked at the Monarch again, beaming.
"Hello!"

"Ah! He's alive!" the Monarch turned to the others, "He's alive!"
Then she rounded on the god-who-was-a-hand-who-was-a-god-and-then-a-hand-again and gave him her most piercing glare.
"You! You scared me half to death!" the she fixed the egg tree with her death glare, "And you! Don't think I've forgotten about you mister!"
She raised her hands, and with a sudden rushing sound, fired something invisible at the tree, which seem unaffected. Her work apparently done, she turned back to the young god.
"You, my dear, should get some clothes on yourself, you'll catch your death in this cold!" she turned on a tiny Mantid who was pruning a nearby rose but now quailed beneath her gaze, "You! What do you think you're doing standing there? This boy is freezing! Get him some clothes now!"
And she turned back to smile at the god and smiled as the Mantid scurried off in abject terror.
"Shouldn't be long now, I think."

Syreene shook her head slowly. Was The Monarch actually this daft?
She looked past the frumpy goddess to the new godspawn.
"Hello, little one. You may call me Syreene." She patted the ground next to the tree where she had once again taken to sitting. "Pay no heed to that one. Why don't you come over here and tell me more about yourself?"
If you look past the plot and the voice acting, Metroid: Other M was an okay game. Not a great game, but an adequate one.
Not using the Metroid item collect jingle though? That, was a mistake.

"Clothes... it's clothes-minded of you to assume I'd want them... uh, wait..."
Caltabactos, then noticed Syreene beckoning to him, and he laid on the ground, and pulled himself toward the location with his hands (he had not yet grasped the concept that feet and legs were more efficient for transportation).
"Hiya! My name is Caltabactos. You can call me Drax for short. Other than that I don't know too much about myself, except that I really will like music as soon as someone invents the concept. How 'bout you? What's your name... oh wait! Let me guess!"
The young god but his hand to his chin, and began thinking of a name that would be fitting of the goddess before him.
"Is it... Caltabactos?"

"Aww! He can talk!" exclaimed the Queen, "Look at that, did you see that? You talked! How adorable!"
She knelt down before the young god and spoke very slowly and very clearly,
"He-llo," she said in a manner befitting one who was talking to the daft or the hearing impaired, I am the Mo-nar-ch of this place."
She straightened up for a moment.
"Oh, do you think that's too hard of a word for him to pronounce?" she asked worriedly, "Ah well, just call me Mo, darling."
She smiled sweetly down at him, then turned to the others.
"So, how are you liking my humble kingdom?" she asked, placing her hands on her hips, or at least as close as she could get to her hips under all the dress.

Syreene laughed (pointedly ignoring The Monarch), the crystalline sound of her voice bounding out across the space, clear and pristine.
"No, little one. You may call me Syreene." She leaned a hand down, stroking the godling's face. "You're a funny little creature, you know that?"
Abruptly she broke the tender gesture, sitting bolt upright, color rising in her cheeks. "I was thinking no such things! The nerve of you to even--" Syreene closed her eyes, hands on her temples, breathing several times in quick succession. "Right. Ignore him." She returned her gaze to Caltabactox.
She gently pulled his head into her lap, and began stroking his messy hair into something less chaotic. "Tell me more of this 'music' ".

OOC: To be clear, I'm suggesting a Superior Spawn.
If we each force as much power as we can into a inanimate flesh, which I shall create, then perhaps we shall forge a being as powerful as we are, yet firmly under our control. We know little of this world, and great as our power is, if God can rise from worms, then other things could lurk under the stars, or beyond them.

"Well, music is liking the kindgom very much. Oh, who am I talking to? This is getting confusing."
The young god absentmindedly waved his hand, and a series of sharp spires pushed up from the ground. The spikes continued shooting up from the ground until a ring of these spires were formed. They reached up high, but had little width, appearing like rocky needles.
"This place was getting boring... do you mind? Each one looks like a tooth. I could call it Caltabactooth! Or Caltabacteeth!"
PP Spent:
2 PP - Mold Land - Formed a ring of sharp mountains. There are no spaces in between them, but the inside of the ring is just as flat as the outside. No vegetation is currently on them.
