Is there anyway hybrid clerics can get the sun domain?

The CB isn't letting me take the Templar's Domain feat..
guides Show
my builds Show

F-111 Interdictor Long (200+ squares) distance ally teleporter.  With some warlord stuff.  Broken in a plot way, not a power way.
Thought Switch   Higher level build that grants upto 14 attacks on turn 1.  If your allies play along, it's broken.
Elven Critters Crit op with crit generation.  5 of these will end anything.  Broken.
King Fisher Does an excellent job at keeping an enemy disabled in a few ways.  Strong.
Boominator Fun catch-22 booming blade build with either strong or completely broken damage depending on your reading.
Very Distracting Warlock Lot's of dazing and major penalties to hit.  Overpowered.
Pocket Protector Pixie Stealth Knight. Maximizing the defender's aura by being in an ally's/enemy's square.
Yakuza NinjIntimiAdin: Perma-stealth Striker that offers a little protection for ally's, and can intimidate bloodied enemies. Very Strong.
Chargeburgler with cheese Ranged attacks at the end of a charge along with perma-stealth. Solid, could be overpowered if tweaked.
Void Defender Defends giving a penalty to hit anyone but him, then removing himself from play. Can get somewhat broken in epic.
Scry and Die Attacking from around corners, while staying hidden. Moderate to broken, depending on the situation.
Skimisher Fly in, attack, and fly away. Also prevents enemies from coming close. Moderate to Broken depending on the enemy, but shouldn't make the game un-fun, as the rest of your team is at risk, and you have enough weaknesses.
Indestructible Simply won't die, even if you sleep though combat.
Sir Robin (Bravely Charge Away) He automatically slows and pushes an enemy (5 squares), while charging away. Hard to rate it's power level, since it's terrain dependent.
Death's Gatekeeper A fun twist on a healic, making your party "unkillable". Overpowered to Broken, but shouldn't actually make the game un-fun, just TPK proof.
Death's Gatekeeper mk2, (Stealth Edition) Make your party "unkillable", and you hidden, while doing solid damage. Stronger then the above, but also easier for a DM to shut down. Broken, until your DM get's enough of it.
Domination and Death Dominate everything then kill them quickly. Only works @ 30, but is broken multiple ways.
Battlemind Mc Prone-Daze Protecting your allies by keeping enemies away. Quite powerful.
The Retaliator Getting hit deals more damage to the enemy then you receive yourself, and you can take plenty of hits. Heavy item dependency, Broken.
Dead Kobold Transit Teleports 98 squares a turn, and can bring someone along for the ride. Not fully built, so i can't judge the power
Psilent Guardian Protect your allies, while being invisible. Overpowered, possibly broken
Unnamed Avenger|Runepriest/Hammer of Vengance Do lot's of damage while boosting your teams. Strong to slightly overpowered.
Charedent BarrageA charging ardent. Fine in a normal team, overpowered if there are 2 together, and easily broken in teams of 5.
Super Knight A tough, sticky, high damage knight. Strong.
Super Duper Knight Basically the same as super knight, only far more broken.
Mora, the unkillable avenger Solid damage, while being neigh indestuctable. Overpowered, but not broken.
Swordburst Maximus At-Will Close Burst 3 that slide and prones.  Protects allies with off actions. Strong, possibly over powered with the right party.

Nausicaa,

Do you think you can play a healic in the front line? Or a warpriest with the pacifist healing feat? I figure your defenses should be ok, you can go after minions and non-bloodied enemies, and then revert to non-damaging when they get bloodied.  A damage sponge, who can self heal for great amounts, and do some damage to non-bloodies and then turn to healic when everyone is bloodied?

I was just thinking as a theortical exercise since you did say with BCL the warpriest has little reason to exist.  I was thinking that your statement might be literal true in many ways...

Unfortunately my statement isn't completely wrong. The only meaning of existance of the warpriest was its extra sturdiness, since you can't choose your encounter powers.

My answer is yes and no. You can play a healic in the front line (most time you'll be there), especially if you take Staff Expertise (staff of the divine or MC invoker).
No, you can't play a pacifist warpriest, since warpriests don't have non-damaging powers (except for oghma, which has a couple).

I don't think I would play a pacfiist warpriest, but if I was going to I would start with half elf to get a non stunning dilletante power like hypnotism, storm pillar, or direct the strike so at least in paragon you would have an at will power to fall back on.  And in the mean time you would have one of your standard actions for an encounter ready for when facing bloodied enemies.  Human with astral seal also works, but is not that useful with a low charisma.

Then I would go with either oghma or death domain since they both have encounter powers that don't trigger the stun.  Powers like death surge and raven's talon don't trigger the stun since you don't hit or miss with them, even if I don't really like those powers that much.  I like oghmas more, but death is not a bad choice otherwise and a pacifist death domain priest is kind of funny, peacefully helping enemies die.

Then I would take at least a couple of good standard action utility powers like divine favor, knights of unyielding valor, wall of shields, hallowed ground, adjure the chosen and cloak of courage.  More standard action powers that I would normally like, but the opportunity cost is not too bad in taking those for you.

I wouldn't take pacifist healer right away, but would wait till mid to late heroic so you have a couple of ways to avoid the stun in late rounds.

A front line pacifist templar also can work well and I agree with nausicaa's advice.  I would also go with Battle clerics lore and a staff and might take a melee power with a good effect.   Take a lot of area effect powers.

You can make one by using a Disrupting Flail + Bola Training, and focus on ranged powers that uses the Holy Symbol.

You trade the damage for an Immobilization.
If you can pick a power with slide and/or push, you can play a secondary controller role pretty well, making melee enemies stay immobilized away from your allies, avoiding damage for them.

I think the front line healic can be done, but it has to be played very carefully.  I think I am going to try a build to see if it works.  I am going to try without the Staff feats, except staff expertise of course, just to see what happens.  Thanks for the advice.

Nausicaa

The Paragon of Victory PP is really something.  I am trying to think of a way I can use it with a Paladin, although a Warpriest I built with it looks pretty sharp.  With a Bravura, an action point can get you 4 attacks(1 on the minor, 1 for your standard, 1 for the AP and 1 from the Bravura feature), thats pretty neat right there.

smbakeresq:

I was suggesting you take Pacifist Healer feat, and take also the feat called Bola Training, and using a BOLA (that is a weapon of the Flail category) and enchant it with Disrupting Weapon, so you can use it as implement.

The bola training feat allows you to deal 0 damage to a target you hit, to instead immobilize him. So with this you will be able to avoid the stun from Pacifist Healer without much problem, wille still causing some annoying debuff on the enemies.

And if you can get an atwill that slides or pushes, you can even deny melee mobs of their turns.

Thanks for the advice, but I put toghether something of the theme I was looking for with explanantions in the Dominate our Domain guide.  Here it is, I got away from the Pacifist Healer feat and got most of it back with Radiant Vessel, the Sun Domain Warpriest, and the Miracle Worker PP.  I heal less, but hand out more saves, can take more damage, and made good use of a Staff.  Check it out and let me know what you think.

Also, what does the Judge symbol mean?

Sorry for being such a pain, but in your Healic guide we were discussing a staff using front line healic.  Well this isn't it, but I would still like your thoughts on this:

Level 8: Radiant Recovery

Level 16: Superior Will

ITEMS
Healer's Brooch +3 x1
Pelaurum Scale Armor +3 x1
Battle Staff +4 x1
Symbol of Victory +2 x1
====== End ======

Taking a superior weapon and versatile expertise and accurate symbole is three feats.  Instead I used those for the three staff feats givng me reach for melee, +1 ac and ranged dont provoke.  This lets me use a Battle Staff, which works well with Gamblers Word and Invigorating Critical.  Also, this lets me save money since the Holy Symbol never needs upgrading unless I just want to change it since the staff is also an implement.  Sun Strike is now an encounter power, so you get CA.  I think you would also be able to use it as a ranged basic attack, the power says so but I am not sure if you are allowed to use it that way if it is gained through a feat.  Thinking about picking up Power of the Sun to use with Sun Strike to create vulnerability.

Radiant Vessel and Miracle Worker let me get close to Pacifist Healer, but not quite.  But this lets me hand out more saves and do more damage.     Deva Heritage and Radiant Recovery work well here.

Please everyone critique fully.

With Power of the Sun turning Sun Strike into a radiant  vulnerability creator, I could then pick up Pelor's divine boon, which gives me + wis damage against radiant vulnerable targets.  I have to go that way, it is just too good to pass up I think.

Just curious: how exactly does taking the Life domain help you "to recover a little those blows to your surges"?  I'm building a deva pacifist cleric right now, and would like to understand this.

Thanks in advance.
