this topic has turned into what the RAW on the power is. The raw says the power does infinite damage. but again that was not the intent of the power.
You keep commenting on that, however, numerous posters have pointed out an arguably strained RAW argument for why the power does not create a damage loop and were then using RAI to point out the arguably strained reading should clearly be used because interpreting it as a damage loop would be retarded. Just because a sensible RAW reading is difficult to grasp does not mean it's not a RAW interpretation, particularly where it is undoubtedly supported by RAI.

So how long did it take before someone to point out that the OP wasn't at an RPGA event, and ergo, the DM can do whatever he wants?
Just saying, the OP's an idiot because he didn't bother to check whether it was a RPGA event.
