I suggest you go into the "Whats a DM to do" and the "Previous editions" sections for campaign tips.

Hey, my name's George Davis, I'm from Lakewood, Ohio and I have played games off and on for most of my life. I don't really have many friends that are into this kind of thing, so it's difficult, sometimes, to get things going. I enjoy digital art, music, gaming, comics, samosas and Chipotle borrito bowls.
My name is only temporarilly "Davis." My fiance and I will be married within the year, at which point we will assume the mutually created lastname of "Winterstone," because we think that's cool and we're both December babies who dig on torquoise. That, and we hate our extremely boring, mundane last names.
I recently designed a shirt for threadless.com, and, I'm not going to lie, I'd like to promote it here, amongst people who I think will understand/appreciate it. That'll be a seperate thread -- I'm not a jerk.
Having said that, that doesn't mean I'm not open for conversation and creative waxing about table-top RPGs and gaming in general. Feel free to message me, e-mail me, or otherwise contact me regarding these things, or anything I listed as an interest in my profile. I've got nothing but love for the creative -- share it with me.
Looking forward to nerding out with my contemporaries.
George

It's been a little while since I've played on paper with a seasoned group. As I've told warghoul, if people are willing to gently school me, I'm willing to play. I'd be most open to that come summer.
I appreciate the suggestions and invitations.

You bastard.
In all seriousness, I am not looking for anyone to game with. I'm lookin' for 5e's playtest to start so my group can play it. That's about it. While Lakewood is sorta nearish me and I have, on occasion, gone to a couple of establishments out that way in the past, driving about an hour just isn't worth my time when D&D is the goal.
