I'm working on some home-made tiles to print out using photoshop, but I'm having some issues getting the scaling right. I've tried setting my canvas (image) size to increments of an inch to match the D&D produced tiles, but they're not printing out the right size. For example, for a 2x2 square, I set the canvas size to 2 inches by 2 inches, but when it prints, it's not that scale. It's usually too big. Would anybody happen to have any experience in printing their own tiles and would be able to help me get the dimensions right? Thanks.

Well, since you're printing, you'll want to use a higher DPI (dots per inch). Click file, new and then set the Width and Height to 600 px by 600 px and the Resolution to 300 px / inch. That will give you a 2 inch by 2 inch square. Change the Width and Height as necessary for your tiles.

Hmm makes sense lol. I'll give that a try later on today, see how it works out.
