76. On the very small island of Tenerratan lies the largest clock tower in the world. It measures every unit of time known to man... err, humanoid. This includes, for example, a minute, a day, a lifetime (specifically, the lifetime of the person looking at it,) a blink of an eye, a no-time-at-all, and the time it takes to kill a kobold. And, universe. The tower could tell us when the end of the world is...

77. ...If only we could reach it! Our efforts are slightly deterred by the fact that the island of Tenerratan is attached to a giant turtle, which is currently wandering around the world aimlessly.
Hmm, I need a signature...

78. Thros, The mad king of the Isle of Naan, Is the world's largest dwarf. Towering at eight feet tall, he is bulkier than a Goliath and purportedly thrice as strong. When his raiders take to sea, he orders them to bring back alive the greatest beasts and warriors they can find, so that he can challenge them in armed combat.

79. The rock spire island of Naan is roughly two hundred yards in radius and a quarter of a mile high. I has almost no vegetation. Its inhabitants, a tribe of fierce dwarven sea bandits, live in small cave dwellings carved into the spire's face in vertical rings, which they reach by climbing narrow stairwells running around the outside and tunneling through the spire. The peak of the spire holds Thros' Manor and an arena where he holds as many fights as he can manage.

80) A few scholars theorize that the ratio of male vs. female Deva indicate when the world will end. According to this bizarre theory, there used to be more female Deva than male in the past, since there was more of a future to foresee and hardly any past to remember. Currently, there are fewer female Deva being reincarnated because the end of the world is approaching, resulting in less of a future to foresee and more of a past to remember. They conclude that not only can one figure out how old the world is, but one can predict when the end of the world is coming (a sure sign being no more female Deva reincarnating).

There are many debates about this theory, as there are many scholars who believe it is pure rubbish. The biggest argument against the theory is that there are no accurate recordings of the Deva male/female populations throughout history, and the supporters of the theory are only assuming there were more female and less male Deva in the past. The Deva are also against the theory, but even they don’t know why less female Deva are being reincarnated. Regardless of the arguments against the theory, it has lead some people to form end-of-the-world cults (even though the world isn’t due to end anytime soon, according to the theory).

81) The Aboleths disapprove greatly of the gods, and think the world would - on the whole - be better off without them. It would certainly make their task of keeping the Elemental Barrier active a whole lot easier, since most of the incursions of the Elemental Chaos in history have been due to Divine meddling. The Aboleth race devote themselves to scientific rigour in all things, and despise superstition. Some of the more altruistic of the Aboleths have begun educating certain races of the Underdark in their particular brand of enlightened atheism, teaching them to survive without the help or hindrance of the gods.

71. Those who live in the shadows of Rhasdragon suffer from a taint due to exposure to Lassutra. Through bits of it that have leaked into their water supply for generations, they have recently begun to mutate, and are now known as the Shadar-Kai, which means "Shadow Born" in their language.
