I've looked everywhere for the answer to one burning question for absolutely months, and I'm afraid to let it sit unanswered much longer.

According to what I understand of the *current* wild shape rules, you do not gain feats from a wildshaped form. This is the most easily processed compendium of the confusing set of rules changes that result in the current wildshape rules (community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/758...)

But why do the people who tout fleshrakers as Gods among beasts not seem to notice that the reason the claw attacks do damage in d6s instead of d4s is because of their Improved Natural Attack (claw) feat? Because they can get away with it?

Or perhaps I'm just crazy?

Now, some background: 5th lvl changeling (passer, the party knows her as a half-orc) druid, who was raised on the Talenta Plains by dinosaurs.
Yes, dinosaurs. It sounded fine in my head, seriously.

I don't plan on using fleshrakers often, purely because of the DM hate I'd get, but it is still pretty much the best form I can assume at this level, so big fights will call for me to mimic my companion Spikes (also a fleshraker).
