I was wondering if anyone had any good pointers on how to optimize the Changelings racial ability. I don't have my books with me, but I do remember that there a couple feats in the Races book.
What I was really looking for was if there was a feat that let the Changeling alter his/her size category with their racial ability? I thought that I heard once that there was something that said that they can shift one size smaller or larger, but maybe I was dreaming.
Anyway thanks ahead of time for any input.

Are you looking for classes or feats? They qualify for Warshaper. I think they might also qualify for MoMF, but I'm not sure on that one.

It sounds like you're thinking of Cabinet Trickster, from Races of Eberron maybe?

I was kind of looking for more feat ideas. My character concept is basically Factotem 1/Ranger 5/MoMF 7. I'm going to take the able learner feat at 1st level and basically be the party rogue. I wanted to focus my skills and feats on knowledge, social, and of course the staple rogue skills of trapfinding and disabling.
Right now the feats I'm looking at are Able Learner, Alertness, Extra Wildshape, Knowledge Devotion, Quick Change, and Disturbing Visage. I'm also looking into the skill tricks of Assume Quirk, Second Impression, Clever Improviser, and Collector of Stories.
I know this isn't the most optimized MoMF build, but I still thought that the experts here could give me some pointers.

The feats in Races Of Eberron are pretty nice. Cabinet Trickster is also pretty good for upgrading your Minor Change Shape to a full Change Shape ability. And everybody loves the Warshaper for Changelings. :D The CT's Change Shape has a few not-obvious benefits. You can change size and gain the benefits of being Small. You can gain the movement modes of your new form - like fly and swim speeds if you choose the right humanoids. There's a thread around on useful forms for Alter Self, which mostly works for Change Shape as well. Also, you gain the extraordinary special attacks of your new form. I once compiled this for my own Changeling CT, though sometimes it's doubtful what counts as a special attack, depending on the statblock:
| Troglodyte |

Stench |

| Forestkith Goblin |
MM3 |
Discordant Frenzy (requires 3 others) |

Be a Psionic race with a (ps) ability, or take a [host] feat from CPsi, which by level 10 will give you an ML of 5. That's enough for Metamophic Transfer feat. Now you can use 3/day an (su) ability from whatever you shape yourself into. Shapechange early is fun.
