Only if you get the War domain do you gain proficiency in a martial weapon.
For example, a cleric of Heroinous who takes the war domain gains proficiency with the Longsword.

With the war domain, you gain profiency with all martial (ex) weapon. But is there a way to gain profiency with a single weapon of the god?

I am not familiar with that particular deity, or its campain setting, but unless she (sounds like a female name) offers the war domain, and you are adamant about not taking the weapon proficiency feat, then I got nothin'. Sorry  Unless you want one level of monk, who gains that particular proficiency.

Oh yeah! Heard of the Favored Soul from Complete Divine? they get proficiency in their deity's favored weapon. Even weapon focus and specialization.

The Favored Soul casts spontaneously. I think they get more spell slots too.
