Yes, this is a good point. I'll look into this for the next version.

Got a few problems. Do you have a forum up for Masterplan? I've got a few questions; just want to make sure that I'm going through the right channels. For now, here they are.
Dungeon Tiles Library Issues Every set after DT5 has it's name changed (partially truncated) when it loads into Masterplan. For example, DT6 Dire Tombs just shows up as DT6 Dungeon Tiles. I tried editing the name and Masterplan crashed. Again, it's only on Dungeon Tiles after DT5. Is there another way to edit the library files?
Monster Types Incorrect Also, the monster types are coming out wrong. My goblins are showing up as magical beast. I noticed that a Youtube video from version 7 had the same issue.
Other than these minor issues I'm excited to run a Dungeon Delve again. And I was seriously ready to quit playing. You're a miracle worker.

The Facebook page has a discussion forum, but let me address these issues here:
What are the filenames of the libraries? What did you try to rename the library to? Does Masterplan create a log file when it crashes?
Is you see a creature which has been incorrectly imported in any way, let me know so I can fix the issue in a future version. Which goblins are affected by this?

I got a workaround posted after the troubleshooting below.
Let's take DT6 Dire Tombs.library, for instance. While inside Masterplan I open the Libraries window. For some reason that file shows up as DT6 Dungeon Tiles (although the one before it, DT5 Lost Caverns of the Underdark, is named properly). So I click Edit to rename DT6 Dungeon Tiles, change the name to DT6 Dungeon Tiles1 (for testing) and hit Okay.
Unhandled Exception (error snippet - first line) System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Unable to find the specified file.
Here's a new discovery. I hit Continue on the error screen. On the Libraries window the entry still shows up as DT 6 Dungeon Tiles. I click Edit. In the name box it shows the name that I just tried to switch it to (DT6 Dungeon Tiles1). I click OK. Checking the windows folder "masterplan\libraries" I see the original file "DT6 Dire Tombs.library" and a new library "DT6 Dungeon Tiles1.library".
And one more discovery... I deleted the test file that I made and restarted the program. Inside Masterplan's Library screen I rename DT 6 Dungeon Tiles to DT Dire Tombs and hit OK. The error screen pops up and I hit Continue. Again, I press Edit and in the test field it shows the name that I typed in. I press OK. The left pane correctly shows DT6 Dire Tombs. Also, I am now able to rename the file with no errors.
I think that the files DT6 and above that I downloaded from the Yahoo group are hosed but I'm not sure how. Whatever the case the I have a solid workaround.
Try to rename the Library. Hit Continue on the error screen. Hit Edit again, change nothing and hit OK. The file should now be renamed.
As for the mislabeling on the creatures check the Goblin Cutter for example. He shows up as a "Small Natural Magical Beast". Many of the creatures that I'm loading up have this issue. No biggie, really, though you may want to know. And as said, this issue appeared in a 7.0 demo on Youtube that I watched.
And again, thanks for this program. I showed my gaming group last night and they were excited to start playing again. The Player View / GM view concept is going to get A LOT of use.

Ah, and one more problem. The stat blocks are missing information in the equipment sections. It looks like ammo counts and pretty much anything that isn't a hyperlink is getting axed. Parsing issues?

You might want to inform whoever created those libraries then.
I do need to know whether Masterplan created a log file though.

I did not find a new log file in the logs directory but there is a Details button on the crash notification window that displays error info that I can probably copy for you.
If you'd like to try to recreate it I downloaded DU 6 and DU 7 from the recommended Yahoo group. They seem to be reliably crashing on the first rename attempt.

I wrote this on the Facebook bug discussion, but figured I'd repeat it here, just in case. I'm trying to build an encounter containing trolls. I was trying to use a regular Troll from the Monster Manual and a Warren Troll from P1 King of the Trollhaunt Warrens. I've downloaded the data from the Compendium, and they show up in the Library, but they are not there in the Encounter Builder when I try to edit an encounter. I even tried adding them to a category called Troll, but that didn't work either. Is there any way to get them in, even a workaround?

It may be that the creatures you're after are too high a level for your party; by default Masterplan does not show you any creatures that are outside the limits suggested by the DMG (which off the top of my head I think are n-3 to n+5).
You can disable this behaviour by deselecting 'Filter by Level' from the Filter menu, and when you add creatures to your encounter you can adjust their level by holding down Shift and pressing the + / - buttons on the toolbar.
In this way you can have any creature you want in your encounter.
