Is it possible to import the magic items out of the compendium so I dont have the add each and every item?  I have a DDI subscription if that helps.

You'll have to talk to the author of the DDI add-in.

Firstly I want to thank Devereaux and the devs of this great piece of software. We use it for all our gaming sessions and it makes playing 100x more fun. I have a couple of quick questions.

1) What is the best way to add a heal regen effect? I have many players who have characters that have a heal regen and it would make things easier if there was a way to have masterplan add the regen on the start of their turn automatically instead of me doing it manually. ( they allways yell at me when i forget

2) Is there a list of Add-ins for masterplan? I have searched everywhere and can't find any add-ins but i see people disscussing them.

Thanks

1. If it's their characters that have regen, then suggest that they might like to take responsibility for it; Masterplan will handle regen on creatures though.

2. No, but asking on the facebook page might yield results.

Devereaux, thanks a lot for this magnificent program! I really like it to set up and organize my games.

In case you are looking for enhancement ideas, there are some things in the encyclopedia that I would like see different:

Frist, when I edit an entry, the list widget in the left always jumps back to the top, instead of staying where it is. This makes it tedious to edit multiple entries.

Second, it looks like the predefined categories can't be changed or removed. As I'm doing my notes in German, I also use German category names; the English ones only clutter the drop-down menu. It would be nice if these could be customized.

Third, copy&paste does not work for text in the encyclopedia view; I always have to open the entry in edit mode before I can copy text out of it. Being able to do this on the regular view would really be helpful.

Thanks again!

I second those suggestions. And thanks for bringing those up. I've noticed them before on many occasions (I do so love that encyclopedia function), but they were never quite annoying enough for me to remember them more than 5 minutes after I was done.

Also, is there a way to add class abilities beyond 1st level (for Essentials classes)?
Owner and Proprietor of the House of Trolls.
God of ownership and possession.

Not sure if this is the right place for it but here goes...

I just started using MasterPlan and I really love this application. It makes my life as a DM a lot easier keeping, both inside and outside of combat. Excellent work.

I have a question though...
Lets say I have created an entire level of a dungeon in MasterPlan. Is there any way to only reveal bits of dungeon to the players. I would like for the players to see only the parts of the dungeon where they have explored. Thus in the beginning they will only see the entrance. They enter and a long hallway that leads into the darkness is revealed. Opening a door reveals the room behind the door. And so on.
I  usually draw what the players see in a piece of paper, but I would love to do this in MasterPlan.
Basically I would like to have a sorta Fog of War that only display the parts of the dungeon the players have explored so far.

I have tried to cover my dungeon with many black overlay areas, and then change the visibility of these overlays as the players explore the dungeon thereby revealing small pieces of the dungeon at a time. On problem with this approach is that the overlays also hides the map from the DM. Also the many overlays really clutter the plot point descriptions.
I've also tried to divide my dungeon into selveral map areas. However this way I am only able to display a single area to the players at a time. They can see where they are just now, but not where they have been.

Any suggestions?
