where is the normal beast

how can it be you cant find a normal Bat , Panther . and so on like there wass in the old advanced dungeons and dragons monster manuals ?


like i wass maken a adventure where my players are going deep in a dungeons and i whant to use a  pack of normal bats but some how i cant find it ?


hope some will know where and how i find the normal beast

I would look for a monster that is similar (another bat or the fey panther or something) and mimic it in all the areas you find appealing to create your standard beast. You can leave out the over the top powers that make the fey panther fey or even rename and reword them to give them a more mundane flavor.
