Yes, I am expressing my opinions (even complaints - le gasp!) about the current iteration of the play-test that we actually have in front of us.
No, I'm not going to wait for you to tell me when it's okay to start expressing my concerns (unless you are WotC).
(And no, my comments on this forum are not of the same tone or quality as my actual survey feedback.)

You have to do the work first, and show you can do the work, before someone is going to pay you for it.
If you can't understand how someone yelling at another person would make them fight harder and longer, then you need to look at the forums a bit closer.

Im pretty sure in this thread or the other thread I mentioned the DMG2 mentioning the sidebar that specifically mentions "When to say no" a few days ago. EDIT: Yes page 738 of the other thread... days ago..
To all who claim that its in the rules that a DM should only say yes. here is a small example from DMG 2 page 5
"How do you pull it all together? Start by knowing when to say no. If a player brings a new option to the table that doesnt fit into your game it's okay to tell the player to hold on to that idea until this campaign wraps up."

yes, but the keyword as posted (admittedly paraphrased, so it may read differently) was "reflavor".

That's because the reflavor thing was on page 16 of the DMG2, the sidebar Hez is mentioning comes in on an earlier page.

The Pacific Northwestern American part. And I need no cookies. I was just glad I could give something meaningful to the discussion. However, if you feel the need to give me something, then you could always spell my username corectly.
