I'd ;love to hear how it goes im going to run a couple of film based encounters for a party with the navigator and your tinker in the mix (i.e. the building in the first matrix, the final fight in aliens and probaly a fight scene from firefly), in the next couple of days, i will report back after

Our group consists of a lot of single-target classes. So I will be rolling up an explosives focus tinker, looking like I will be rolling a kobold (for flavor). I'll let you know how it turns out.

Phew! Almost done with the basic 1-30, just have a few more levels of baseline abilities before I delve into the item stuff and more detailed feats.

Hi again, you seem to still be putting a lot of work in, i still haven't had a proper look through the higher level stuff yet, but will do after xmas. I thought i would let you know about the tinker character i've made for my test game tomorrow (there is a link to the race details below), i've made a few tweaks here and there to fit it with my homebrew setting (eg Gunsmith was the name of a class feature for my 3.5 Engineer class):

Mine will be 6 as well, same focus

I do plan on adding feats that are race specific (like the ones in martial power), not that it will help custom races out :P. I plan on adding at least one more paragon path and epic destiny. I still need to work on the ritual replacement that represents engineering crafted items vs magic, but going to wait on that until after I finish the class basics.
