Dude, this is weird- I'm at school, and the page for the Wizards forum looks all jumbled up. I'm only going to post from school periodically...
Simple suggestion. Never try to post from school. It's a bad idea. I don't know about your school, but at my school, if your caught doing stuff that isn't part of school on the computer, not only do you lose computer privileges but you also get detention...

I was just doing a quick check- there was no background, and the texts and links were all screwed up... Plain and simple, it was just weird...  I have nothing else to say.

Response to an earlier idea: An Ice age, hmmm? I'd give that idea a go. It would suggest why the gods had to move out, to my opinion.

The Gods... had to leave... because... it... got... cold? These gods survive in the void before matter and time... I don't think they're gonna be scared about a little cold. Also... look at everyone else's posts. The Ice Age is NOW. We're discussing whether or not we want to end it before the game does.

You could focus on the Miasma. It is, on some sense, supposed to be apocolyptic, eating everything in its path and converting it to more miasma. If necessary put 3 pp into it and have it decreate 1 point of existance every "turn." The gods leaving might contain it or destroy it, could be a solution.

Some form of out-of-control matter- unleashed how? The miasma could work... I guess it could come from anywhere, really...

Oh, I'm very aware of the Miasma... gotta figure out a way not to have all my peoples up there die because of it  So, I'm busy beginning to put together a capstone page for the game. Something to go on the wiki that gives a brief synopsis of the state of the world, and especially any plot hooks for those parts of the world. Many of you have already given me ideas of what you would like to be remembered, but for the rest of you (and those who have already answered, as I didn't ask for plot hooks before), if you could just reply with a few paragraphs of info and plot hooks, it'd be greatly appreciated. So, for instance, I'll want to remember the Children of the Aether, how they began as a refuge from the third war, how they expanded to be an aether-spanning nation, and how they are now in dire straights because they have lost their ability to generate more air, and they are running out. Plot Hook: There is an artifact to fix it, but it is scattered in three pieces across the world. I'll also want to remember the Circle, who... etc etc, etc... Thanks guys

I'd be more than happy to post a summary of everything Chroma was involved in, hooks etc, once I've finished using my PP for the last cycle... there's still a few things he needs to do before I can make a good summary
