Fang felt the world shifting, and he felt, too, the forces shaping the shift into mountains and undersea valleys. He did what he could to maintain the balance, possibly even pushing too far as he did so.

----------

It was almost a common occurrence now, but the spectacle always awed the inhabitants of the Place between Places. The large portal slowly opened, but neither ocean spray nor blood came through. This time, it was bones. A heap of them collapsed onto the floor, seemingly inert. It was only much later that a human child carrying dice made from sheep knucklebones stumbled and fell against the heap and by doing so discovered the trick to using the new portal.

----------

Hammu sat for a long time, hoping to hear from the Lord of Life. After an age, it became apparent that no reply was forthcoming, and so he sighed to himself and set about his work alone. Too many of the troubles in the world were the results of the experiments of other gods, but he would set right some wrongs with his own "experiment".

Alone, he wandered the Grey Wastes, seeking the undead husks of great warriors. He studied them, and then went into the Farscape in search of their souls. These he gathered to himself and brought them to the Place Between Places. Tucked away beyond a fold of the plane, he conferred with Rabi at length as to how best to outfit souls with less... fragile bodies.

They settled on metal. Armor was one thing, but it had to be taken on and off- Rabi argued it was better to have a body completely of metal (thumping Hammu's armor shell as if to make his point). They forged them in the great lava lakes in the middle Underdark and imbued them with the essence of the storm that Mara had unleashed on Beacon so long ago. Hammu taught them Law, and sent them into the world to seek out injustice and imbalance and destroy them.

----------

He woke near a lake of fire. He learned in marble halls. He practiced against the best warriors of the land, and he debated with its foremost scholars. He matched himself against the best, and judged himself worthy to separate knowledge from foolishness, the just from the unjust and the good from the evil. He went in search of new challenges. Eventually, The Judge came to Terena.

+1PP (The Zenith) Create Artifact (lesser): A portal forms, linking the Place Between Places to the East coast of the Old Continent near Skypeak, Terena and the Grey Wastes.
+1PP (Fang the Delver) Mold Land (lesser): The Polar Opening enlarges slightly, creating more room for expansion in the core.
4PP Shape Populace (Greater): Maruts
+1PP (The Code) Guide Populace: Maruts worship Hammu
1PP Guide Populace: Maruts join the Place Between Places, making frequent raiding ventures into the Grey Wastes through the portal.

The Judge is a Marut Prosecutor (MM2). He's added to Terena as fluff for campaign usage if desired.

Bring Gleemax Back.  Even as a failure, it was better than this.

Chastelli finally appeared after a long moment, looking at Enoch. She had changed greatly since last he had seen hear, holding now an appearance of a mature, but still young women "It's going well. Very well indeed. Though I suppose you don't recognize me. I find they listen more when I wear an older form."

-----

Gorion slipped through the passages, wandering blindly. He had been having little luck with the Ice Giants when he felt the passage of power into this place, and followed it on a whim only to become lost in the passageways. Ripping another of the Losalfar that passed before him into shreds, he stepped into another room, peering through the darkness.

Startled, he noticed the goddess sleeping silent. He sent a silent trickle of power to awaken her as he went to his knees.

-----

Veros glanced out of the fortress. "I must go, AzorChapien. I wish you luck in your future endeavors. Though, you may want to deal with the meddling exarch that is causing trouble in your lands."

As he lifted into the air, he froze, seeing through the mists of time with the Temporal Vortex. He had long forgotten that he had placed it there, and it's coming alive was a surprise,b but more so was what it revealed to him. He closed his eyes to the future and considered it. Why would Vymrl strike him down?

Determined to get to the bottom of it, he made his way to the Imperium, certain that Vymrl would notice him there. As he moved, he reached into his pocket, and frowned again. Pulling the stone out, he looked at it. Remembering. The Stone of Revery. Continuing his hunt for Vymrl, he held the stone, wondering what had ever become of Ythrexle. He certainyl did wish to encoutner him again, and repay him for that timely rescue.

He lifted the stone, handing it to the couatl. "Alocasia, seek your master. I have not heard a whisper of him in along time. When you find him, ask if he would come to me."

-----

Drevan slipped though Terena. Is was no long his land, under his heel, but there was still much to do here.

Enoch laughed.

"My lady, I do not think I could ever forget you.  May I compliment you on your new form?  I was wondering if you had revealed the portal to Nixis' Library to the Loremasters yet.  I have an idea to how you might be able to further explore the world... but it requires that you speak with the society that operates within the Library."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nixis looked at his new creations, then winced as the window outside burst into sudden brightness.  Floating up to it, he looked out to see a pillar of fire reaching up to the heavens burning to the southwest.
"Azor'Chapien... it would appear you have a slight problem.  Get up here."
She giggled a bit, then shook her head. "No, the old men want to debate it and argue for hours on end on whether it's worh the risk."
She walked to the window. "I found a way out. But I'd still like to hear your suggestion."
If Enoch could have rolled his eyes, he would have.  As it was, he shuffled his pages back and forth, making a rippling sound.
"Those blowhards.  They would argue about whether the sun would rise tomorrow if they could.  I have explained somewhat of how the Library works to you.  Each member of the Library that wishes to enter from a location that is not where a permanant portal has been established uses a special token that is connected to the essence of the library itself.  My idea is to introduce you to them, and connect the tokens to you much like the Loremaster enclaves are connected to you.  Then, you would be able to go anywhere one of the tokens went.
What do you think?"
For so long she had slumbered, left to her dreams while the sun rose and fell, while the moons danced the twilit waltz. Ages had passed as she slept, kept distant from the world, cocooned in dreams and warm thought. Much had transpired beyond the gaze of her closed eyes, much had changed. Yes, the world was different now, filled with different people who did different things in different places. All this happened without her notice for her only concern was the world beyond waking. Something, however, had changed that had penetrated this cocoon of dream, and reached her divine mind. Someone had dared to enter her home, her private sanctuary, as she slept unknowing, and take her most prized possession, the first thing she had ever owned. They had dared to take this from her. This was too much, far too much. Thoughts, angry thought collected in her mind. They lifted her up through the fog of sleep, and presented to her the bright, waking world. And as she woke, she had but a single thought on her mind. I have a god to kill.
When her eyes flicked open, her first sight was of a smooth, blank expanse of green. She rose, fluidly and smoothly to her feet and came to stand upon her bed. Smooth, silken sheets flowed off her form like water. Before her, kneeling upon the ground, was a creature she had never seen before, but knew instantly it's identity, for it was everything she stood for. Her gaze shifted upwards, and came to rest upon the mirror directly opposite. She smiled as she gazed upon her perfect form, the curves of her hips, the way her silken shift rested upon her body, and how her dark hair tumbled about her shoulders so carelessly, yet with such elegance. She looked back down at the kneeling creature.
"You must be Gorion," said the Empress, smiling as she offered her hand for him to take, "We are going to have a lot of fun together."
He helped her down from the bed, and she moved over to the window. With a delicate gesture, she parted the curtains to reveal the world below. Her lips parted once more in a smile as she beheld the beauty below her, and, more specifically, the south.
"A lot of fun..."
Ythrexle had long since left his mortals to their own devices, their cities cumbled to dust long ago.  Lately he had become increasingly drawn to the Great Dream that he had left so long ago.  "I do not care for these dreamers any longer.  How I wish for the days of old where I...  No.  When we were one with the dream.  How I long to return there..."
Stealthily, Alocasia slithered up to his perch atop the grand spire.  "Masster.  Veross your brother requiress your asssisstance.  He wisshess to sspeak with you once more."
Ythrexle felt his stoic soul stir a bit when his modest servant mentioned that name.
"Veros...  Surely if he's contacting me it must be important.  Come Alocasia." and with a simple sweeping movement the dream-god scooped up his couatl servant and made for Veros' position according to her directions.
Gorion willing helped her down. Though he knew his creator was not she, within her he rcould feel some of the many things he most valued. He liked his monstrous form, the intimidating presence it conveyed, but for the first time in many ages, he chose to discard it, instead adopting one more similar to her own, so that he would provide less of a contrast in her presence and not appear confrontational.
"That was what I had hoped when I awoke you." he said, eyeing her. "I'm sure you are aware who created me. I can't help but wonder, where" he whispered, "he recieved his inspiration."
She grinned at the book. "Sounds like a wonderful plan."
Before Dolestre could reach Torvek, Corelloth flaps her wings and pushes both of them out towards the water. "Now, I shall continue what is planned!" She uses the stolen energy, and the small flame on the sand erupts into a fury of violet energy, that seems to expand rapidly towards the main town. All of a sudden, the energy roars upward into a spiraling pillar- towards the Skyway River.  Corelloth appears from the roaring energy. "Let this be a lesson to both of you- if you tend to try and ruin my plans, I shall have both of your heads! Mark my words!" And with that, she disappears in a ball of violet flame.
A tendril of purple flame threaded its way along the Skyway River, and curled into the space of the Place Between Places. Hammu stared at it, watching as the flame flickered through the air. He could sense that great power lay at its source- furthermore, he could sense that something had upset the Balance once again. "Corelloth. She's back, and once again she threatens my creation! How many times has she threatened Beacon, and now she intrudes into my own sanctuary?! Enough of this!"
Hammu turned towards the Courts. There was something there... something that might help in this situation. A breeze flowed through the great doors of the Courts, and dust lifted from the large skeletons within. Some form of insect lifted its head out of the damaged ribcage of one bony heap, and the skeletons creaked to their feet. With a motion of his hand, Hammu beckoned them to his side, took the Hammer of Law in hand, and then he opened The Zenith and stepped through into Azora.
Hammu paid the distraught dragons no heed, but bent immediately to the scent of Corelloth. "She's got no place to hide.. she can't have gone far. I'll just follow her disarderly trail until I find her!" Some time later, Hammu cornered Corelloth in her lonely hideaway. He motioned the skeletons forward "These creations are... distasteful, but they are nothing if not tools of Balance. As they Balanced Yoglith, so they will Balance you, Corelloth."
Swarms of Pyreflies were evident now, crawling from the cavities of the skeletons. They flared bright in the dim light, and buzzed hungrily as they closed in on Corelloth. It was over quickly. As the skeletons slumped, their work complete for now, Hammu knelt beside the corpse that now flickered with a slowly burning purple fire and retrieved a Pyrefly. He sent the insect on its way to Veros with a message.
"Lord of Knowledge. I've something that belongs to you, in a way, and something that you should see. "
Hensen moved away from the Eye of the Pantheon, its visions have engulfed his mind for too long. The world was changing around the Hydra god, old beings, who was walking creation long time before himself, have awakened again. New potential coming from ancient things, impressive.
It felt a turbulance in the palace of Xa'an, Drathor gift to the Bronze Pantheon and to his beloved Empress, while the Master of Creation and Destruction was still sleaping she has awakened from her slumber.
"Curtesy demands that we pay her a visit" Sibilated the Gree Head, with the passing of time its scale has changed from near emerald to a dark green and his horns looked even more wicked than before. It has also grown stronger than before, as he was not fully enthralled by the visions of the Eye.
"This is a wise tought brother, should not we bring here a gift from us, to celebrate her awakening?"
"Also apparently there is someone else already with her, I think we slept too much if someone can enter the palace of Xa'an without us knowing."
"Shall we go now?"
"I guess we should have her finish the talk with the intruder, I'd be rude to interrupt right?" Concluded the green head.
Meanwhile in Terena a strange being approached Drevan, it looked like an humite girl, but there was something wrong in her.
"Hello, master Drevan" she told him in a gentle and innocent voice "there is someone who might like to talk with you, in a place secure from prying eyes..."
