From Ilthain, the worship of Veros slowly but surely spread through out Azora.

-----

From two young members of the Children of the Aether, pactsd with devils spread through out them, carrying the qworship of Gorion and Veros with them.

-----

Minos continued to flourish in their underground abode, making contact with many of the surface walkers. Among some of these people, they detect people with dual minds and spirits, which they found most intriguing. Capturing some of these Kalashtar, these new captives were brought into the depths for reasearch and study.

Further, additional studies on creating servants from the bodies of others expanded, unleashing a new creature upon the underdark, the hook horrors and chokers.

-----

Ancient bonds of magic slowly gave way. Unknown to Veros when he unleashed his destructive wrath. A subtle shift, unnoticed by its inhabitants, the ancient rock shifted, as the power of the Dimension Bulwark suddenly latched onto it.

(So, the amount of PP has doubled... time to make good use of it. Smile)

Torvek smiles back at Shurka and lets go of his hand. He walks to the edge of the platform and makes his final preparations. "This will be the last time I will see this home, but I shall never forget about it."

He raises the land once more and creates a sort of tabletop on the top of the mountain. It becomes steeper than before. He places a building on top of it- a building of pure white stone- where the Dracos can remember their heritage of their existence. The Hall of Drumont- the building that helps guide the Dracos to civilization.

He creates another artifact- this time a statue within the Hall of Drumont. This statue helps keep the island well nourished and to keep the Dracos to prosperity. This is the Statue of Well-being.

Finally, he creates an object that can be used by the mortals. This object is a symbol of leadership. A draco willing to take this oath of leadership will be known as a Shaman of his/ her tribe. There are split tribes for now, but over time the tribes will become nations and civilizations. This is the Staff of the Shagri.

His work was done, He had no need to help them anymore. He lowers the rocks down to the sea floor- those around the temple and those that lead up to the sky. He chose a couple of good rocks and sent them towards the portal that lead to the Prime plane- a sort of gateway.

He grabs his chakram and wills the platform of energy away. Torvek, Shurka, Hondala, Dolestre, and Terascul stood at the front gate of the temple. torvek took his hand and sealed the gate with energy to preserve the temple for future generations. "I will miss this great work of art, but I will never forget it..."

He looks over at Hondala, Dolestre, and Terascul and they all nod at each other. He looks back over at Shurka. "So- shall we move on?"

PP Expenditure-

1pp- Mold land: The island now ecomes a continent, lots of ecosystems are present, and the mountain becomes steeper than before. It develops a tabletop of some sort to house a building right after.
3pp- Create Artifact (PP guide): The Hall of Drumont is forged into existence, offering the Dracos a chance to move on and develop a civilization and to flourish as a nation all on their own.
3pp- Create Artifact (PP nourish): The Statue of Well-being is placed inside the Hall of Drumont, providing the island plenty of nourished plants for the Dracos to use for food and other things.
1pp- Create Artifact: The Staff of Shagri is used to determine the Shamans of tribes. It is placed within the Hall of Drumont as well- next to the Statue of Well-being.

(Phew! That was alot to talk about...)

"I'm glad you understand. I will see you later. When it is time to go."

Shurka left Torvek at his home plane, and contemplated what to do next. Now that he thought about it, there was one other person that he needed to talk to.

***

In a village outside of the Military-State of Rusten, Satar stared into the stars above. Each one represented a different god. The 10 stars making up Shurka's constellation were glowing particularly bright. Satar had used to wonder why 10 was considered the lucky number of the White Lord, but he had learned many secrets through his extended lifetime. He was the 10th god. Not the first as the priests had made young humites to believe, that was Veros. Veros' star was by far the brightest. Satar was still watching the endless void of the night-time sky when a figure approached behind him.

"Hello Satar.  Do you know who I am?"

Satar turned around and looked at the newcomer. It was a small humite child garbed in an immaculate white robe. In one of his hands he held a stick as if it were a staff. A tatoo of an eye, a popular trend these days, was seen on his forehead. Other people would have faltered, but Satar could see that this was no simple child. There was a look of determination in the child's eye that would not be found in any normal kid. There was also something about his presense that was inherently famaliar to him.

"Of course, Lord Shurka, to what do I owe the pleasure?"

The boy looked up at the stars. "I have never been truly able to appreciate the beauty of this world from a mortal perspective. It is a shame that this will be my last chance. We are leaving. The Lords of Creation that have brought you this world must now leave for the benefits of the mortals. You, however, are different."

Satar sighed and responded, "I know. I have ceased to age, and I have capabilities beyond those of normal mortals. Do you have a reason for this?"

"To be honest, I do not know exactly what you are, there are some mysteries even to the Gods. Even to Veros. But I have an assignment for you, in my absense, lead the humites in the right direction. Live in my stead. The world needs heroes both mortal and divine, and even those in between."

Satar would have smiled if he had a mouth. "I understand my Lord."

With that, the child nodded his head, and Shurka dissapated into a strand of golden mist, climbing to the heavens, or whatever was beyond the stars. Satar sat back down, and looked back at the stars illuminating the sky. He sang a song that he learned as a child.

Thank the Lord of Creation for their gifts.
Sweet Eijra for decorating the Earth
Lord Neko for the waves and seas
Pained Chactross for fire in the hearth.

Thank Veros for what we know
Strong Vymrl for power and might
Wise Shurka who heals our wounds
And quiet Mara for the moons of night.

Shun the Empress;
May our sins be controlled,
Praise Zophia
Who watches our souls

Thanks to Xirinet
Who gives us wild life
And Azor'Chapien
Who protects it from strife.

The child god frowned in thought. "That's true Mr Nixis, but the mean dragons didn't even need to enter the Chaos to hurt Mother... they just ripped her in two. Meanies... " A smile crossed his face. "But with the slaad here, and the cyclopses, they'd stop them in no time! Or at least hurt them if they tried! But that don seem enough... I know, I'll make more things to help protect Mother! I couldn't drag the genasi from Ardune, they have so much fun there..."

Gathering his power, Chroma reached down into the elemental maelstrom that was the Chaos all around them, pulling forth in one hand a seething river of magma, and in the other an impossible river of stone. Bathing them both in his divine essence, the child god condensed them each into a ball and threw them out into space, where they collided before exploding into hundreds of shards. Living, breathing shards.

The ball of magma gave birth to the Azer, a race of flaming, dwarf-like creatures with anger and pride as heated as the fire that comprised them. They considered the Chaos their home, and would fight any who dared invade it. The stone, on the other hand, formed odd squat humanoids comprised of earth that would become known as Galeb Duhr, far more passive and patient than their Azer brothers. But like the stone they were comprised off, push them too far and an avalanche would follow.

Little did the child god know, but soon enough the two races would be employed by the slaad, and used as front line soldiers and lackeys for when unintelligent creatures such as elementals wouldn't suffice... but that was in the future. For a brief time at least, the races were free to enjoy the wonders of the Chaos.

PP Expenditure:
3PP -  Form Paragon Populace - Create the Azers, fire dwarves who protect the Chaos and serve the slaad.
3PP - Form Paragon Populace - Create the Galeb Duhr, stone dwarves who protect the Chaos and serve the slaad.

The Gods were leaving. one after one they would leave the world they together had shaped and formed out of the nothingness of ancient times.

" A final gift should be given "

A voice whispered.

" A gift to all of the Gods´children. But what should it be...? I could build them cities, I could give them gold, I could make them live eternally...let them never fear death or the pain that it brings to lose a loved one. "

The whisperer smiled and looked out at the world. A blue orb, orbiting a vast star that had once been alive. One that had once smiled, lived and laughed.
The world deserved so much more.

" This world deserves more then that as it has given me much joy. Therefore I will put my blessing upon it. I do this now before it´s to late, before my eyes are blinded and my back is forced to turn against you by retreating Gods´. What i will do is not what should be done...as what I want is not always that wise. I will give the of this world an era of peace and bless this world with an abunance of life. "

The fair Goddess rose her hand and life flourished in ways never seen before. A great calm took the world, raging youths found their rage snuffed out, old and hateful elders grew suprised as they found an odd smile appearing upon their lips and an odd feeling appearing in their gut.
They felt...oddly at peace.
At the same time new a Buffalo opened it´s eyes for the first time, a hummingbird took it´s first wingbeat and a lone turtle slowly took a first trembling step.
All over the planet new life was shaped, created and give a place upon the oddly shaped continents of the world.

" The peace will not last...there are always fools out there after all. But the world will need a rest...a couple of years without bloodshed and this will probably do just that...but what of the future? "

A woman-child was shaped, a mere babe that was brought in to life squealing and naked as most other babes. There was something special with this one though.
When the child grew older as years passed...it was clear that she was the splitting image of Eijra. A pale child with blood-red hair and olive-green eyes. Eyes that saw what others could not or would not see. The child was blessed with clarity, wisdom and a skill in divination that rivalled even old Shurka the god of seers.
She was to be known as Eivri the ruling oracle. A god-child, a wanderer, a seer, a warden, a weaponmaster and an adventurer.
A person that with a little luck would be able to influence the future eras of the world in a positive way.

With this done the Fair Goddess finally turned her back on the world. Leaving a lone, squealing baby lying alone on a hill-side behind her.
The Goddess smiled.

" Things will soon be good again, Child. Soon your time will come "

7PP- Nourish Planet: All "normal" animals not created before are now brought in to existence and are justly shared out on the different continents. Mortals in general also begins to feel at peace, content and joyful for a couple of years and a well-deserved peace rules most of the planet.

When Shurka re-enterred Torvek's plane of Daelgar after his talk with Satar. It appeared as if the Dragon was ready to leave.

"Even as we leave our creations in the mortal world, know that they will reunite with us upon their death. We are only bound to stay away from the mortals in their life, not in their death. The other gods will meet you in the Astral Sea, but I may be late. I have... a thing or two to attend to.."

Shurka's voice suddenly changed from serious to ominous, and looked Torvek in the eye with his own.

"Lord of Creation? Are you ready to leave this world?"

Torvek looks back in determination. "I am prepared to leave, friend." He spreads his wings out and flies out- Dolestre follows suit with Terascul in her grasp. Hondala trails behind- circling and spiraling behind while leaving a trail of light behind her.

Torvek and Dolestre leave Daelgar like twin comets and towards the Astral Sea- their final destination.

Azor'Chapien knew that the time had come. He sent a message to all his exarchs, and began his last work.

-----

King Valden received his message from a dream, but the message was clear. He was to resign his reign over his kingdom and leave the kingdom to his 20-year old son, who had recently earned his knighthood. Under the cover of night, he made himself 'disappear'.

Around the same time of Valden's disappearance, a new mountain range gradually grew in southern Azora. A hermit began living in a hut somewhere within this reign. This hermit had no name, though many theorized that this hermit was in fact Valden, as he appeared to be immortal.

It became a traditional coming of age test for young knights to journey to the mountain range and accept a quest from the hermit after finding him. Thus, the mountains acquired a name: The Quest Mountains.

-----

Eon received a message as well. He was granted full and total control over the fortress on the border of the Gray Wastes. He turned it into a small domain as to how he imagined Azora should of been from the start: a place where the knights protected the peasants, no more, no less. Eon became the lord, with several knights under him. The peasants farmed the land, for the fortress was a good mile or two away from the Wastes, making the lands at least habitable. A force of volunteers, The Gray Millitia, ensured that no undead crossed the border with the help of the professional soldiers. Eon's domains became known as the Fifth Kingdom, despite it's small size.

-----

Finally, there was the small matter of the Black Knight. He received no orders, and severed the ceasefire between the Followers of the True Code and all the other three kingdoms. He left the fortress keeping the slaad in check, returning to his kingdom, once again serving over his lord and master.

-----

1 PP Mold Land: The Quest Mountains are formed.

3 PP Nourish Populace: The Azorans ever and more thrive!

Kiptar smiled at this godling, Chroma apparently.

"Hello Chroma. I am sorry, but I did not know this Mother was in trouble. If I had, I would have seen what I could do. "

Turning to Nixis:

"Yes, they are interesting, aren't they. This Miasma was worrying, but I feel that my warforged are doing well. A few things to get rid of Miasma near Aetherhome, and inspiration to create material to protect their ships, and they seem to be fine. It would be nice if we could destroy most of the Miasma though, but I wouldn't recommend all of it. It is...interesting. I would be curious to know how it got created in the first place. If your Children want to borrow any of that, I wouldn't be adverse to that.

Oh, and I am Kiptar, you were correct. "
